Ours is finally in transit!  NOA2 10/17, NVC recieved 11/14, Case # 11/23, In Transit 12/11.  It says all this in my signature but who reads those?  Thought I would share for those of you wondering how long you will be waiting.

Just for lettign you know our dates as well:

 

NOA2--> October 22

NVC Received case --> November 13

NVC Case number --> November 21

NVC Case in Transit --> December 11

I'm in the large group that was received in the first few days of December by NVC (12/3) and did not get a case number yet. Did anyone from this time receive a number yet? Hopeful that ours get sent out in the next batch around Christmas time! Soooo close.

I have a question about @Greenbaum's first step. What do I type in the question box in that link? I don't have a question, I just want to sign up for email notifications. Also, do I need to attach anything? thanks so much for your help!

 

1. How do I update my email address with NVC Once you receive your NOA2 approval then contact NVC via https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

to update your email address as well as your beneficiary's email address. This will give you an email alert when your file arrives at NVC, your case is assigned and when the file leaves for your Embassy.

Put your case number, full name and birthday in the box. You can add both emails.

Anyone else trying to find the willpower to NOT call the NVC every single day to see if your case was received, the number assigned, sent to the embassy, or all the above???
