I read your status @Davi+Inna and @stevenInBoston and I want so badly to be in your shoose! Next tuesday I have my medical exam appointment, still have no interview date, for Argentinians we need to send packet 3 first. I'm so stressed out now we're almost getting to the final steps and get the resolution of our case, I miss my fiance so much, hope we'll be able to experience the joy you feel right now. Any advice for us to survive this last month or weeks apart?

Congratulations!! and always remember today when you feel blue or have an argument, this worth everything, is real love. Good luck and enjoy every second together ❤

I wish I could say it gets easier, that you stop worrying.  Even after she passed the interview and was waiting the 5 days to get her passport and visa, I kept checking CEAC to see if the visa was issued.

It helps to keep busy, with work or preparing for the next step or even planning on what to do when you get to the US/your fiance arrives in the US.

Thanks for the advice, my fiance wants to be with me at the interview, and honestly if he is by my side, holding my hand I know I'll feel I can do this interview right. I don't know if that makes any difference for the consul, but it will be a big difference for me, if things don't go the way we expect, at least we'll see eachother and hugh tight. Just hope this has a happy ending, at least this first part, as we all know the forms, interviews and paper work continues.

Hi every one! My fiance has a doubt with the affidavit of support. Is it a must to add 2018 w2 and 1040?, I know we have to show until the most resent taxes and we don't want to be denied by the consul at the embassy. Up to know our sponsor and the petitioner have until 2017. @Greenbaum I'm sure you know what to do 😊

If the interview is before April 15 it's ok to use 2017.

Thanks so much! I didn't schedule yet because of this doubt, but will be this month or first week of march. 😊

If you have completed your 2018 taxes prior to 4/15 and your interview is schedule after the 4/15 date then the 2018 are the ones that need to be submitted. Otherwise if you have not completed and your interview is prior to 4/15 then submit 2017. AND yes W2's from the same year you are submitting are required. It's much easier to get a IRS Tax Transcript (https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript) and it is free and same day (your mileage may vary) download.

Not necessarily true. If he filed 2018 when he has the interview then he must submit 2018 even if it is before. If he has not filed 2018 taxes at the time of the interview then yes he can use 2017. More details in my post above.

@Greenbaum Thanks so much, up to know our sponsor has 2017,2016,2015 and my fiance 2017. My fiance and our sponsor did not do the 2018 taxes, but they were wondering if it was a must. I´m almost ready to schedule interview, didn´t do it because I´m waitting for them to send the affidavit of support through mail first. I think I will be able to schedule for February 20, or first week of March. Thanks a lot!! You always save me from panic attack! hahahaha!  😃 ❤️

Nope 2018 is not a requirement to be finished UNLESS it is after 4/15. If after 4/15 then you have some explaining to do when you tell the CO you don't have them. But what you have is all good. Carry on!

Hey everyone, I'm thinking ahead to the getting married part of this thing. I kind of want to get married immediately without waiting for the social security card when we arrive to the US. I've read that some people said to wait to get it, but obviously we're impatient. :) @Greenbaum What are your thoughts Mr. Greenbaum?

Hello everyone,

Has anyone come across a situation where after creating an account on https://cgifederal.secure.force.com they cudnt see K1 visa as a visa type or visa class? See the attachment - I do not see K1 visa option anywhere. Even not under non-immigrant visa.

Also, Has anyone's embassy asked to register the address on https://cgifederal.secure.force.com so that Aramex can deliver the passport after the processing.
