Hi luv, call the number at the bottom of your certificate. see if they will tell you whats needed. sometimes you get a nice T2 officer.

i spoke to someone this morning he said he couldn't really give me information on what i needed to send in. that rfe is coming from the California office and they alone will know what i need they arent seeing anything on there side

Try Registrar General Department. Email them and explain. Possibly you can email on his behalf an have him pick it up and FedEx to uscis. Make copies for you. They have a bc website

What about the justice of the peace ?

He can’t send it to uscis I have to

You need something official saying he was not married during the times in question. Jp cannot do that. They can sign his statement saying it was an error on his part but you need something from Jamaica marriage bureau I would imagine

Email them with the concern and they should be able to direct you. Email now although closed and call when their open. I do believe he has to do it so emailing should come from him.

And where would he have to go ? This is just messed up

Where do I find the email ?

Go on their web page email address is b ou ttom left hand corner. They are at 40 Duke street. Check times and maybe he can go first thing. It maybe something he can get immediately. Then the letter apologizing for the miss use of the word spouse to accompany what he gets. That should suffice.

Good luck

Thank you ! I need it

You can call NVC to see if your case was received and to get your case.

Case #

And then what I do after that ? With the case number ?

You'll need it to fill out the DS 160, you should probably follow the December NOA2 >>>NVC thread.

Okay
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
