Called the NVC today.  They received our case on Nov. 23.  Now we have to wait for them to assign the case number.

So excited we got approved on Wednesday and I'm just now getting my head out of the clouds. This has been such a long journey so far!  I'm excited for the next steps! So grateful for this thread and all the information it holds.

Congratulations to you!  So exciting to share in the joy with others when you know how big of a deal it is and how much it means.  Found out from the NVC that we were issued a case number on 11/23, so we are excited as well.  One step closer.

My NOA2 was 10/17.  NVC only received our case on 11/14, and we found out today that a case number was issued on 11/23.  No need to worry, you will hear good news soon.

I have the exact same profile as yours. No case number assigned till 11/23. I'm too scared to call now knowing that tomorrow is D-day (shipment) and I don't want to hear "no number assigned yet". Have seen a few 14s get their case numbers today. Fingers crossed. Might call around 11pm EST.

Thank You So much! Absolutely, I love encouraging people and congratulating them as well! This process is not easy at all! Wow thats great you have your case number! On to the next step for you I'm sure. Wow this is so great!

How did you find out? I have tried to call twice already 3 hours in between, and I can't even get through. Maybe they are issuing case numbers. 🤞

I phoned around 11 AM EST this morning to the nonimmigrant number.  I waited on hold for 15 minutes and asked if I had a case number and they told me yes, and shared the case number and IIN with me.

Your not getting through because everyone else is calling may every two hours so they are clogging your time.

 

Why not call once a day and leave the poor people at NVC alone so they can answer questions from others who may have more pressing issues. <Deep sigh>

Best time to call is 7am and after 9pm there is little to no wait. We got our case number today.
