We met on Brazilian Cupid..... I have been to Brazil twice since we met online and I am going back for my 3rd visit on July 13th. Our love is very real and when they see us together, there will be no doubt! I will attend her interview in Rio de Janeiro, even though I will have to wait outside during the interview.

Good luck. I'm sure everything will go great.

We actually met in person, in school. He was a graduate student at the time. He moved back home to Mexico to work and shortly after that we decided to get married, so we applied for a K1 for him to come back. :)

I met her at a lounge, we had mutual friends and I was living as an expat in her country.

My meeting her in person instead of online is probably a bit weird considering most people meet online now.

My husband and I also met online. Tinychat to be exact -- an online chatroom where you can hang out with people all over the world.

We made sure to take the TOS printed out to the interview and also proof that we e-mailed back and forth with Tinychat to confirm they are not a marriage broker. Further, we took evidence around the time we started talking via Skype that shows the timeline of joining Tinychat to private talking (which was about a half a year).

I do think they are used to the meeting online thing. My husband and I met in Second Life six years ago and rekindled our friendship 2 years ago and decided to meet in person and the rest is history. lol

Hello everyone. My fiance and I met online. We met in a chat room where we video chatted. I know the counselor officer is probably going to ask how we met and to give details. I’m concerned that they will scrutinize this and wonder why my fiance was there in the first place.

I know many of you probably met online. How did you answer this question? I don’t want them to think he was hunting for girls online like some Moroccan men seem to do. I know Casablanca is a hard embassy to get approved through.

Did anyone else meet in a chat room? If so which one and when?

Thanks in advance everyone.

I met my now husband in a video game  and how I answered that..exactly explaining how, when, what game and type etc.
