Day 189 for us... I have been lurking on this forum and very happy for all those who have gotten their approvals.  I really appreciate the scans that @x_driven_x has been doing and all the encouragement people are giving each other on this forum. Praying USCIS gets around to doing ours soon. Our NOA1 is November 15 on the old site...

We were approved this morning via new site! I received an e’mail that action had been taken. I also did contact my congressperson last Thursday for help!

I just got an email that they have taken action in our case. I checked in the new site... ITS APPROVED.. Still trembling here... In tears of joy... NOV 10 old site NOV 14 new site.....

Hi! I called them and just told them about the case and how long it is taking. She said although it is still in normal processing time she would still contact USCIS. On Tuesday morning they received a response from USCIS stating that my case was en route to the adjudications office for review! I think it helps to make your case more of a priority if you go through a congressperson!

How do you determine which Congressman to call? Do you call the general number to his/her office and speak to an assistant? I just want to make sure I go through the right channels and not waste my time going down the wrong path. Sounds like in order to get USCIS moving you almost have to resort to this kind of action unless you're lucky and they happen to get to your case within a reasonable amount of time.
