Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Peace Bridge - Buffalo, NY
As soon as I pulled up to the border guard, I told him I was using my k1 Visa and that my fiance was behind me. He told me to put my hazzard lights on and go to the building on the right. The parking lot is behind a cement wall and there's 2 guards at the entrance. They told me to park and go in through the door. When you get inside the building, there's a huge waiting room. I waited there for about 20 minutes before I was called to a window. The gentlemen I had was very nice. I handed him the package. He went over everything, asked a few questions and stapled the i94 in my passport. Which cost 6 dollars. After about a 5-10 minute conversation with him, I was free to go. They never searched our cars or anything. I had my packing list prepared though. Never asked my fiance anything either. Aside from the wait it was easy.

Event Description

Embassy Review : Over all experience with Montreal was great. Everyone that I dealt with was really nice. They were having some technical problems this morning but they apologized for it being slow. I believe the interview was maybe 10 minutes. The longest part was waiting to be called to hand over my documents. Over all it took an hour and 45 minutes from the time I arrived and waited outside till I left. It was actually pretty easy.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
