This is not true. It may be so for Morocco, but not for other countries. I'm 21 years older than my husband and we didn't have any problems whatsoever, from start to finish.

Ok it may not be for other countries but OP is from Morocco, as my fiance is. Our age gap isn't that high but we we're not approved. Neither were prob a dozen other couples I know of with closer age gaps,  all from Morocco.

Has she considered being the one to move, would seem a better and quicker option.

Yes, this would be much quicker.  But I'm guessing this option does not interest the OP.

We do not know.

Yep, I call that the "true love test". The American should announce to the foreigner that he/she intends to move to their country instead of battling US immigration so that they can be together and see what reaction this gets.

But you really have to sell it, as scammers know that USC's use this to test them.  By "really gotta sell it", I mean you gotta pretend to buy tickets, put your house up for sale, quit your job, have firm move dates, then as it gets closer, the scammer will start to believe it and make excuses why it's not a good idea.  It would take a lot of effort but for me it would be worth it.  My wife wanted/begged me to move to her country as she didn't want to be far from her parents and sister.  I did consider it, but after looking into possible job prospects, I would have to take a 50% hit on my salary best case.  We were in limbo for a few weeks as she was thinking about calling it off due to her not wanting to leave her family.

All your proofs are small potatoes really. Rings, a week of time together, and photos galore in one of the hardest embassies around wont do much.

The answers to hard questions are going to make the weight of your approval or denial, that is my opinion. Is your wife also Muslim? If she is not, how does your family feel about this? How do you, her as well as your family feel about her maybe not being able to give you children? Do you two share a common language, French maybe? If she has children already how does your family feel about this? Why her and not someone from Morocco? Why not an older Moroccan woman? Did you have a formal engagement party? Did you have ANY engagement party to announce things rather than just telling people?

Just to name a few to keep in mind.

is there a chance to make it ?

You are asking if that will work.. I suggest you just do it, and if you get denied you just move to Morroco marry and then apply for spouse visa if you  guys want to move to USA.

The gap is huge but it is fine , just try it, becasue if it is a true love, God will help u .  This my point of view

Good  luck

There is an example here of a couple with your same circumstances and they had WAY more visits and time together than you guys and look how much it took them even though they went through the cr1 route (marriage). Is not about being pessimist but realistic. I think you should push the process at least for a year or more so you can spend more time together  (I honestly think you have pretty much zero chances of being approved with just 1 week of spending time together, being part of visajourney for the past 6 years and I've seen way too many cases of north african/african younger man and older white american women). Think about her going for a couple of months to live with you, maybe get married or definitely moving with you.

I believe you're right. and that's what happened to my wife and I. When the NOA2 took too long we decided that we were going to live in Jordan instead of the U.S and wait for the NOA2 in Jordan. but surprisingly we got our NOA2 after we made our decision in a week.
