follow USCIS site on how to arrange https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/tips-for-filing-forms-by-mail#:~:text=You may submit your forms, the status of its delivery. In preparing your packet, remember: Do not use binders or folders that we cannot easily disassemble. Do not use heavy-duty staples. Instead, use fasteners or heavy clips to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated. Note: this is only applicable when submitting filings at a USCIS lockbox location. We recommend that you do not use fasteners, hole punch, staple, paper clip, binder clip, or otherwise attach documents to one another when filing directly with a USCIS service center as that may cause delays in scanning the documents into the electronic database systems. Sticky tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. For easy filing, place the tabs on the bottom of the page, not the side. Note: this is only applicable when submitting filing at a USCIS lockbox location. We recommend that you do not place sticky notes on documents when filing directly with a USCIS service center as that may cause delays in scanning the documents into the electronic database systems.

USC should be here to ask the questions Because the assets of a trust are no longer the property of the trustor, a creditor can not not come after them to satisfy debts of the trustor trust are created to protect the money from either inhertance taxes , probate or creditors (in this case USCIS) Does she get a monthly, quarterly or annual check from the trust which can be counted as income? -

Children under 18 may need a Letter of Consent to travel internationally without both parents. the main concern at embassy interview and at CBP here in the states is human trafficking and the need to protect those most vulnerable/ this is a concern for embassy to approve even if she turns 18 -
Girlfriend looking to study English on F1 visa
JeanneAdil replied to hayburner's topic in Student & Exchange Visitor Visas
check requirements for F1 https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/guide/f-1/f-1-english-language-training but understand there are online courses AND F1 requires student to return home If you have maintained your status and finished a program of study and do not transfer to another SEVP-certified school, you have a 60-day grace period to depart from the United States. Failure to depart within this grace period could adversely impact your ability to re-enter the United States under a different nonimmigrant or immigrant classification. -

If USCIS has a good algorithm, the process dates would change daily depending on cases coming in and going out of any office including those that are transfered to another facility A good computer algorithm would include info like what staff is out for any reason and all the holidays right now the timeframe should go down as we are done with the holidays from Thanksgiving to Presidents day(that's a lot of office time off ) timeframes will soon go up as petitions increase in the summer months with people traveling to meet and /or marry I watch the site called number of service-wide forms to date put out for each quarter which shows # of each type of petition , # approved, # denied and those pending U filed in March 2023 and at that time there were 1,918,709 pending CR1's and 57,295 K1's along with all the other visa categories which total 8,875,675 pending in US offices and now USCIS is dealing with almost 1 million asylum cases and the number of those has exploded in 2023 USCIS is crazy for stats and charts and not on keeping us informed we pay for US offices to keep Congress informed with charts and stats and we are in the dark on our own progress for a petition

N-400: Information about residence
JeanneAdil replied to FriendlyGuy's topic in US Citizenship General Discussion
Follow the instructions Part 5. Information About Your Residence List every address where you have lived during the last 5 years (including other countries) prior to filing your Form N-400. Start with where you live now, and then include the dates for each place you have lived in a month, day, and year format (mm/dd/yyyy). For example, type or print May 1, 1998 to June 1, 1999 as 05/01/1998 to 06/01/1999. Provide your mailing address if it is different from your current address. Provide “In Care Of Name” information, if applicable. If you do not have a State or Province, enter the name of your city again in that box. If you do not have a ZIP or Postal Code, enter “00000” in the ZIP or Postal Code box. -
