The SSN card has two lines for the NH's name with 26 spaces on the first line for the NH's first and middle names and 26 spaces on the second line for the last name and suffix, if any. Neither the first or last names shown on the SSN card should be reduced in length, unless it exceeds the 26-character limit.Mar 3, 2011 Take a copy of the SS page to SS office and make them correct it https://secure.ssa.gov/poms.nsf/lnx/0110205120#:~:text=The SSN card has two, exceeds the 26-character limit.

marriage certificate in most states list woman's name as her maiden name/ you can use husband's last name on the petition I 485 for applying for green card with proof of the marriage For purposes of requesting immigration benefits, a married person may use a legal married name (spouse’s surname), a legal pre-marriage name, or any form of either (for example, hyphenated name, pre-married name or spouse’s surname). Requestors must submit legal documentation, such as that listed below, to show that the name used is the requestor’s legal name:[2] Civil marriage certificate; https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-1-part-e-chapter-5 Most marriage certificates only list each spouse's name at the time of the marriage and do not list a specific married name.Jan 29, 2024 Or change last name when doing the N400 to naturalize

You submit a copy of the Cambodia birth certifcate with the translattion (which is automatically certified by a qualified transator) Along with copy of national ID (cambodia has the photo of person that is needed ) with the certified English translation. its also good to get POA (power of attorney ) from spouse that allows u to sign the 1040 and deposit the refund since the person is not here to sign either 1040 must be mailed in as IRS wants to see these originals Ask spouse to get these to u ASAP File now for the extension (Taxes due by October) From IRS site https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-news/fs-08-12.pdf yes, u have a 3 year window • Losing your refund. There is no penalty for failure to file if you are due a refund. However, you cannot obtain a refund without filing a tax return. If you wait too long to file, you may risk losing the refund altogether. In cases where a return is not filed, the law provides most taxpayers with a three-year window of opportunity for claiming a refund. things to consider 1. wait time for interview can be long 2. can be denied 3. can be lone AP after interview

JeanneAdil replied to Black Sand's topic in US Citizenship General Discussion
Yes, you will do new biometrics as the new photo is the one that will be on your naturalization certificate Before u provided a photo / this one is done at USCIS local office they automatically check fingerprints for this to verify ID Bio's are done rather quickly after filing N400 (ours was within 2 weeks) interview is several months later -

Can I re-marry my ex-wife?
JeanneAdil replied to Okegiftgift's topic in What Visa Do I Need - Family Based Immigration
remarry and file I 130 for wife and one for each of your children embassy interview will have questions about "why the divorce?" she needs to answer honestly Do u currently live in USA? married 7 years to USC and then divorced should not interfer with the remainder of your life But there are countries that practice "leaving family behind and marrying USC and then divorcing to bring former wife/gf to US so knowing the country and what the embassy has seen in the past is important
