You may include the net value of a home as an asset. The net value of the home is the appraised value of the home, minus the sum of all loans secured by a mortgage, trust deed, or other lien on the home. If you include the net value of your home, then you must include documentation demonstrating that you own the home, a recent appraisal by a licensed appraiser, and evidence of the amount of all loans secured by a mortgage, trust deed, or other lien on the home. You may not include the net value of an automobile unless you show that you have more than one automobile, and at least one automobile is not included as an asset. Submit evidence of the value of your or your household members' assets. Evidence must include the name of the asset , a description of the asset, proof of ownership, and the basis for the owner's claim of its net cash value. page 5 of I 134 instructions https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-134instr.pdf

Have her scan the needed documents as copies are all u need for NVC depending on what documents u submit to IRS for the ITIN, get originals, u have till the 15th to submit tax returns for 2023, make copies of all the pages of your returns before mailing them as these returns will be slow to process. I believe u still have to submit these by mail to IRS and not online as IRS wants originals. U have a long wait for the interview and at that time (it will happen after April 15th and at that time a new I 864 will be required with 2023 returns so just copy and keep the documents Now just submit 2022 income

USCIS Filing Fees Increasing - April 1st 2024
JeanneAdil replied to Tellurous's topic in US Immigration News and Discussion
actually this is the one service that provides to the person(s) getting the benefits we know what office , we are informed of the progress (as slow as it is to get) at each step Bene meets the officer who interviews and decides it really is up to a well prepared petition by the USC and the bene to do a good interview we are given reasons for denial or a chance to change a NOIR /NOID ourcome this is our cholce to apply and benefit / no one is forced into this the fees are not in tax system so do not benefit outsiders we pay our own fees for this service and there is an budget for us to see along with monthly embassy statements , reviews, stats, charts its not like school taxes where we all pay even if not children in school /I pay for the house here and 2 other properties with no benefit for example/ to me that's what a money grab is -
you should have an expiration date for the K1 you can write to embassy and ask for the time to be extended if u r not going for the March interview date OR some embassy's will allow the interview and wait for medical exam to decide on the petition Best to ask the embassy itself and prepare to do CBRA for your child to get his/her US passport

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requires that women who are pregnant and required to have a medical examination in connection with the issuance of a visa, and are examined in a country currently using the 2007 TB Technical Instructions must have a chest x-ray examination conducted. Pregnant women will have to provide the panel physician with consent to conduct the chest x-ray. For the health of the applicant and her unborn child, CDC instructs panel physicians and laboratories to provide abdominal and pelvic protection with double layer, wrap-around lead shields when they receive the chest radiographs. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-10-prepare-for-the-interview/medical-examination-faqs.html
