5 year ban is big thing. People who get 5 year ban mostly who worked in usa while having tourist visa or other big things. There is no way they give 5 year ban just because she was lying. I see so many people get refused entry if they have spouse ,fiance or boyfriend. Is there something else too you want to share with us.

Your wife is required to submit an I-864.  Her household size is 3.  She will mark you as the immigrant beneficiary and NOT as her spouse (a person is counted only once).
 
Your wife's brother will fill out his own I-864 as a joint sponsor.  His household size will be him and his family (his children, typically) plus you.  He should not count your wife or your child.
