No such thing as an I-129F visa. I-129F is a petition.
That said, I wouldn't hold my breath on congressional intervention on a process that is being used to try to speed up the I-130 processing (notably, ahead of other I-130 filers). If any speed enhancement existed, it was outside the intended pathway.

I'm just talking about congress looking into why NSC takes so much longer in general than the other SC.  Not for them to look into the I-129F petition "flow"

Kim and Joseph reacted to AshleyHope0618 in Mailed off my petition yesterday!
So much like everyone here, I have been working on this packet for a lifetime it seems but we finally finished everything and mailed it out yesterday. I dont know how many times I checked everything yesterday, before I even got to the post office, then again several times before I sealed it up and mailed it out. After it was accepted at my post office, tracking number in hand, I actually sat down in my car and cried!  I am a little embarrassed to admit that but it is what it is.  I think it was a combination of excitement, nervous energy and anxiety that I may have forgotten something. The estimated delivery date is tomorrow(9-26) and I am already watching the tracking, for every single little change LOL.

So now I am trying to think of things that I can do right now, to help keep my mind occupied while I wait for those NOAs. Im assuming the next best thing to start working on is gathering documents and filling out the forms for the I-134?  I am one of those people that dont like to sit and wait while doing nothing, I need to be doing something! Helps me to keep my mind off the whole waiting process and lets me get better prepared for the future  Ive already went through timelines and found those relatively close to mine and followed them, lets just hope they actually update their timelines as things progress LOL.

    Warning:

If you marry then enter the US on a K1 visa every single immigration benefit you ever get after including citizenship is jeopardized.  It is a deportable, unforgivable offense.

Of all immigration mistakes this one is the stupidest, most foolish on the list.

Same issue here. Got married in Feb. Went for K1 visa interview in April and got approved. But we got a call from embassy two days later and was told that they have to cancel the visa. They called us back and said they got proof that we had a religious wedding.
We were told by the embassy officer to do spouse visa

I’m beyond excited, 😁😁😁😁😁😁🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃😘. It’s been a gruesome, mentally exhausting and depressing months me and my wife have gone through with all the setbacks/delays with The Nebraska Center and it sure has its effects on our marriage . I can’t wait to get see the update online and get the Notice of approval letter. My wife will be so excited to find out this breaking news at break of dawn. Bye Bye Nebraska 🤞✌️✌️✌️✌️ Wish everyone else to get approvals soon for the September 2018 PDs and earlier as well that have yet to hear anything. Or try calling too to find out.

WOW I am lost for words. God is good all the time. No expedite, nothing out of the normal. Filing for that K3 Visa really works. 3 1/2 weeks after filing my I-130 was approved.

So, we called the USCIS call centre this morning.
The i130 was approved in the morning of 11 September 2019.  ( the K3 was denied the evening of 10 September 2019).
We explained to the agent that online website did not give any updates. He said that the online tool is renowned for being way behind, and that he gave us the most recent information.

    i130 pd: 6 May 2019 - Appr 11 Sept 2019
    i129f pd : 8 August 2019 - Denied 10 Sept 2019.
    Nebraska.
  18. Thanks
Kim and Joseph reacted to pushbrk in Filing a K3 after I130 to expedite the process? NOA 1 to NOA 2 in just 4 months?
This is the logical explanation.  Since the two files have to be joined, in order to kill the I-129F, somebody already has the files on their desk.  Since it only takes about 30 minutes to adjudicate an I-130, they might as well deal with what is in front of them, instead of returning both cases to storage.  Whether this is happening, I have no information, but it IS logical.

No I was an annoying son of b**ch constantly emailing USCIS employees from the emails I could find, tagging USCIS employees that would comment on their USCIS posts, they probably tossed my file up to oil that squeeky wheel. Who knows.  Nebraska is still full of it. They need to have all the management team there fired.  They are even last of the service centers to send cases to NVC seems like texas/potomac takes like 2 weeks while nebraska is double the time. It's like their motto is "If it can be done, we will do it in twice the time'

As the petitioner, your husband will automatically be the primary sponsor, even if he doesn't make anything. Then if his income is insufficient, yes, his Mom can be a joint sponsor and both of their income can be combined.

Assuming that's a typo and you meant 2020?

    1. No, she renews when in her home country, not possible to do while in the US.

    2. She can apply to extend it, but without a valid reason she will be denied, her visa will be automatically cancelled and she will have a very hard time getting another one. "Wanting to stay for longer" is not a valid reason and attempting to extend her stay after staying for 6 months already is basically saying "I want to use a tourist visa to live in the US" which is not allowed.

    3. No adjustment possible, you can petition for her but that takes 12-18 months and she will need to return to her home country.

The simple answer to your simple question is she returns home before her 6 months are up. A tourist visa is for temporary visits. Don't be greedy.
