This is the continuation thread for

Personal note:  I'm finished with this infernal immigration process, but I remember the trauma of it clearly.  I sincerely hope for rapid progress in your case.  Even if I don't respond openly, I'm cheering loudly at your announcement of success.  Have faith that good things will happen.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

We just got approved!   So far no paper or email notice, but I check the "new" and "old" sites daily (obsessive, I suppose?) and discovered on the new site we were approved on 8/14/2019. NOA

Ok i open the new thread 😊😉

 

Hi everyone , 

i just got a notice that my I-129 F was denied (they took 36 days to process it ) 

but my I-130 is still «  received «  

does someone crossed that situation ?

Even once your i130 is approved it might not show as approved on the apps etc

mine didn't change from received until

jt was sent to NVC

I bet it will come soon 🙏🏻 I sent mine in June but it was held up in Istanbul postal service for a FULL MONTH! 😡 I’m anticipating the mail receipt fairly soon. My email notifications never work, and being abroad, the mail takes 10-12 days in the best scenario. We’ll see...

Oh WoW .. post office sometimes .. same here in Corsica .😩. mine took 15 days to arrive ..

i hope for you that they will receive soon . Then ,obviously  they take 1 month and few days so it’s pretty quick ( compared to I-130 lol) 

lets pray and hope for the best for everyone of us 🙏

Friend!! It means your i130.... Approved? ☘️🙏🏼🤞🏼 it'll update in the new dhs website

Actually, the exact same thing happened to us. It took an extra day or two for the website to update with the I-130 approval.

Called USCIS yesterday now that I am in the states! 

The guy told me that the processing time for Nebraska is 11.5-15 months. Therefore he said my case is still within the normal time range. T_T~~~
As of now my case has been in the process for 11 months and 1 week (USCIS guy told me). 

Hopefully things will move along!!!! :D

That happened to me. My I-129F got denied on 2nd August 2019. Still waiting for the letter on the mail. Not sure if my I130 is approve yet, it’s not updated online

It took 3 weeks for our petition to be sent to NVC. Had an updated status today on the old website saying it was sent yesterday. 

 

Maybe now things will start moving!

Random tracker-obsession update: Just did a case tracker run - saw movement on cases with PDs up to Aug 27th. :)

  • ID: 04/07/2020 <- cancelled by Corona
  • ID: 05/27/2020 —> approved

Good to hear this hope we all get our approvals now .  my PD is Aug 24  .VJ timeline is generic  between 10 to 29 Aug . fingers  crossed. Praying for all

No , I am still «  »received «  but I pray to receive a good news soon 🤞🤞 .

they updated the old website and still not the new one 🤷‍♀️

I had the notification via visa tracker and I checked both of them . 

It’s crazy ! Lol

Did you tried to call them to know if you were approved ?
