U.S Conditional Green Card expired while outside for 4 years

I am a Conditional Green Card holder and my Green Card was expired 3 years ago. I am divorced and I never filed I-751. I spent a year in U.S. I am living my home country but now want to return back U.S. My stay outside was due to abusive marriage and health problems. I didn't know U.S. immigration laws until now. What are my options?

I  do not think you have too many options other than just see if they’ll let you in on your expired green card. If so, you might be given a court date where you can defend your case. However, we need more details.

You can try and come back on an expired green card and see if they’ll let you in. My understanding is that if they do, you’ll get a court date.

The only option I see (which is an extremely long shot) is to try to file a very late I-751.  However, that could be a lot of money wasted. I don't see any other remote possibility.

You got a very slim chance with a lawyer by filing late I-751 (consult first and find if you were put in removal proceedings)

Yea if they let me in then they will put me in removal proceeding.

I am consulting with the lawyers and filing I751 with U.S address is the only option for me. Thanks for your time
