Fingers crossed!!

We're also starting to worry about my husband's driver's license and getting it renewed while the ROC is pending.  I know each DMV is different on how they handle it.  Once we have the NOA in hand I'll feel a bit better.  Otherwise, I guess I'll be doing all the driving!  Lol!

Fortunately my wife's license expires in July 2024. If she doesn't get the 10-year card by at that time, then we will have lost all hope in the process and will probably move out of the US LOL.

Hi all, has anyone received any confirmation that USCIS has received/ accepted their packet? Sent ours on 2/3 and haven’t heard anything from them yet. I’m probably just being impatient but I worry that the packet will get lost and I’ll have to start over 😳.

Based on the Jan 2021 and Dec 2020 Filer threads it's taking about 4-5 weeks to get the notification and cash the check... As long as the tracking shows it delivered to the correct address, not really much we can do but wait 😬

Question: Did you guys use Fasteners with two hole punch at the top to organize your documents? Our stuff is already about 3.5 inches thick.

I used paper binder clips and rubber bands.   Make it simple.

🇺🇸 N-400 Info for Taiwan 🇹🇼
A USA citizenship applicant who was born in Taiwan may indicate Taiwan as the country of birth on their Form N-400 if he or she shows supporting evidence. Such applicants’ Certificates of Citizenship are issued showing Taiwan as country of birth. USCIS does not issue certificates showing “Taiwan, PRC,” “Taiwan, China,” “Taiwan, Republic of China,” or “Taiwan, ROC.” People’s Republic of China (PRC) is the country name used for applicants born in the PRC. (see USCIS reference: part K chapter 2 footnote 4)

I used a two hole punch and an ACCO top fastener.  At the bottom, I used 3M tabs (the thick plastic ones).

When I submitted the original 485 packet, I just used the black binder clips with index tabs.

Update on my timeline:

Package delivered this morning!

Sitting tight now for a month.  Lol!

We used expanding organizer folder + paper clips. Pretty much the same what we did during AOS application.

Mailing the package tomorrow, the window opened Jan 31st but we have been busy. Included deed and mortgage proof, IRS transcripts for 2018 and 2019, insurance proof (husband, the USC is on my vision, dental and life policy), 3 HIPAA forms, joint checking and savings bank account statements, joint loan and ownership proof of my car, 3 pages of pictures, a piece of mail addressed to both of us, trip to my country plane tickets confirmation, copies of our driver's licenses showing the same address.

I hope they won't be asking for 2020 tax proof, not sure how likely it is.

Good luck to everyone, here we go again!
