Looks like there has not been frequent approvals (or may be updates on the IGOR list) as Igor list shows F2A category dragging at June 2019

As per that list, IR1/CR1 category is almost all approved till Nov 2019 and almost 50% approved for Dec 2019, Jan 2020 and even Feb 2020.

It is strange that few 130s IR1/CR1 are still getting approved from Nov 2019. Probably they were RFE cases or sheer bad luck.

Just trying to find some logic out of this chaos :(

Keep in mind that there is also a lot of VJ members not even filing their timeline...I keep seeing people asking questions about the NOA2 timeline and NVC procedures with an empty timeline. I don't think it reflects what is really going on.

Hi All,

Just letting you all know that my I130 has now been approved! Yay. It got approved on June 6th 2020. I have already received my NVC welcome etc and processing the DS260, I864, Financial/civil documents. However, I am little confused. As I am going through consular processing, I would need to do a medical (£330) which is pretty expensive. I am not sure whether this should be done now or closer to the interview date (Whenever that is). I want to avoid having to do a medical twice because of some expiration date or something. The embassy in UK are currently closed and not sure until when? Is anyone in this sort of position? Thanks.

Congratulations! I am in the same boat as you. I got DQ''ed. and now waiting on the interview date. The consulate in my country is closed and not running any visa services at the moment but hopefully they will open back up soon so we can have an interview date. I will be waiting until I actually receive interview date and time and then schedule a medical. I think medical expires after 6 months and giving the situation of the consulates are not open I would suggest that you should wait until you receive a interview date from NVC and then schedule for medical. Best of luck!

We are also waiting for the Embassy to re-open in the UK. We are going to wait until the interview has been scheduled because I believe your medical exam cannot be more than 6 months old. Boris Johnson is opening the UK on July 4th, so hopefully interviews will resume.

Congrats to all that have been approved!

We submitted November 12, first NOA on November 18th. NOA said it was sent to Potomac. I am USC, spouse is Spanish.

I just checked MyUSCIS and it hasn't updated since January 10, 2020!!!

Is this a situation where you should message and ask if it's been transferred? I'm not really sure if there is anything I should do, or just be patient and hope for an update soon!

i have the same situation, I caled them and they said my case still in Potomac. last update was 01/22/2020.

Yea, I think I am going to sit back for the next 45-60 days for the NVC to take care of their stuff. In the meantime, hopefully we can get the PCC done by end of Sep 2020.

Help Needed!

So I got my Citizenship on 6th and called up USCIS helpdesk to upgrade my husband's I-130 so the category can be changed to IR1/CR1 from F2A. Our PD / NOA 1 is Nov 2019.

Anything else I need to do? Should I check after few days if they have made the change? Also, the location on 5th July was CSC. For IR1/CR1 CSC has no processing time suggestions. We are from IL, can anyone suggest what timeline we should be looking at?

Thanks!

CSC does not process IR1/CR1 applications therefore it does not have the processing time for I130s. Miost probably your case would be transferred to some other Service Center.

My CR1 visa was originally Texas but transferred to CSC and was approved not long after.
