Today I woke up and found that my interview was scheduled. Being in Chicago with the long wait times, I decided I would just sit back, relax, wait and not get stressed over it, but wow, it happened so early. This is so helpful, my mum got incredibly ill a month after I got to the US, I can't wait to fly back to Australia and spend some time with her.

Congratulations!!! Send some good vibes for us too :)

I'd recommend to still apply to jobs as that will help you with interview preparation and possibly expedite EAD.

I fully agree on this, at least have your resume ready to go. I’ve been looking for jobs and applying for some in the last 1-2 months already and it is tough out there. (Obviously depending on your field and location)

But it is definitely beneficial to be ready for it. Hoping for my EAD to be approved in the next couple of weeks!

Great! I filed on 30th May so it's kinda in June. It's been 4 months and haven't heard anything from USCIS. How about you? Did you guys get ur interview date or EAD?

Last 2016, my husband and her ex wife filed their tax together. (status: marriage filing joint)

On AOS application, in  I 864 form income tax reported for 2016,2017,2018 with tax transcript needs to be provided.

Do we need to include my husband’s ex-wife salary too? or we can just write his total income tax and exclude the other?

Thank you❤️

Our interview was scheduled on October 29.

We have planned to move to California in early-November and already signed a lease there(yay!) and booked flights to move.

We are definitely saying we are moving and getting a job there.

In this case, do we need to tell them to mail the green card to our new place if we get approved?

We have enough proofs that we are living together, like a lease agreement, flight tickets, renter's insurance, car insurance, joint bank account, some photos.

Oh, and my concern(I'm beneficiary) is that my husband haven't got a job officially yet, but he would get a job around the interview date.

He have earned enough money for two and we have some money in our joint account which is about 20,000.

If the officer ask my husband about job, can we tell that my husband has had some interviews for new job in California and would get a job soon?

(he is currently employed and will quit in early-November)

Do you guys think it's fine?

Thanks!

Our interview is Oct 28th. EAD is still saying that. I assume we are going to get his GC before his EAD

Mine has been like that since the day after my biometrics appointment. Some people never receive any status at all until the "new card is being produced".
