Hi everyone! I am new here! I am the US petitioner for my fiancee. I mailed our packet on January 8th and it arrived at the Dallas P.O. Box on January 11th. I am hoping to receive the NOA1 perhaps this week or next. Really hoping for a smooth process. Good fortune to everyone here!

Hi guys!

My fiancé and I are actually together right now working on the packet. :D

(See attached photo)

I was wondering about the mailing and physical address part. If the answer is yes to item 8.j, do we put the same address again in physical address 1? Or 2? Because the address history instruction says put the physical address first if it's different from the mailing address.

If the mailing and current address are the same leave 9A blank

Welcome to the thread. From this point on it is will be a long process about 5-7 months. In the mean time can you please complete your profile. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Here are the instructions for completing the I-129f. I think that will explain it in a little more detail and a way to understand what they are looking for. Hope this helps.

Item Numbers 8.a. - 8.j. Your Mailing Address. Provide the address where you would like to receive written correspondence regarding this petition. Indicate whether your mailing address is the same as the place you reside (physical address).

Item Numbers 9.a. -12.b. Your Address History. Provide the addresses for the places you have resided over the last five years.

Since my mailing address was the same I left physical address 1 blank and continued history in physical address 2
