Yes you will need your NBI for the interview phase, but I was under the impression the NBI is good for a year. My fiancee just renewed hers and it's good for a year.

I just checked it, you were right! The information is different across various sources but it now says generally 6 months to 1 year. Not too long ago it was just 6 months.

Thanks!

Thanks!

You can also do the CFO seminar with or without a visa and the certificate they give you upon completion does not expire just so long as you are going to marry the same petitioner as listed in the CFO records.

I haven't had my NOA1 yet. Should I start getting worried?

Sometimes  it can take up to 30 days, I'm sure you'll  have it this next new week. If you paid by check or credit card have they cashed or charged your check or card yet. I would not get to awfully worried just yet.

And @Del A.  In the eyes of the CO at the time of the interview they want the NBI to be less then 6 months old. Embassy specific requirement.

Hello everyone! Excited to be here! I am the US petitioner for my Fiance' who is in the Philippines. I mailed our petition on January 11th. Now I will patiently wait for the NOA1, which I am excited about and pumped up to receive! I am petitioning my Fiance' for a K1 and also a K2 for her 11 year old daughter. I know this will be a long process but I am excited to get things rolling! I look forward to talking with you all!

Hi guys

I would like to ask, my petitioner will be moving into a different States because of the nature of his work. We filled k1 visa this January 11th, 2019, and the address that he used was his current one. He'll be moving on different state by March. I found out in some of website thread in regards to changing the address, USCIS tend to not really update it.

Could someone enlighten me and educate us about our issue. We will be planning to use his parents home address. Thanks 🤗

Follow the process there, select option for 129F.

If you worried after, give them a call and verify petitioner's new address with them.

Hi guys!

My fiancé and I are actually together right now working on the packet. :D

(See attached photo)

I was wondering about the mailing and physical address part. If the answer is yes to item 8.j, do we put the same address again in physical address 1? Or 2? Because the address history instruction says put the physical address first if it's different from the mailing address.

It's me again guys.  🤗

Is there anyone here that knows the old and new website of USCIS where you can check your case#?

Thank you! 💖
