You can send a message to AskNVC and tell them the situation. The link is in the first post on this thread

Thanks! We've done that but haven't heard from them yet. How long do they usually take to reply?

Also, the websites still haven't updated and they show our case as "received". Anyone else with the same issue?

Спасибо! Мы сделали это, но пока не слышали о них. Сколько времени они обычно отвечают?

Кроме того, веб-сайты все еще не обновлены, и они показывают наш случай как «полученный». Кто-нибудь еще с такой же проблемой?

Our web site did not update either. nvc responded after 3 days

The new site updated for me and said my case was approved on 12/6 but the old site still says my case was received 5/31. They seem to not update the old site at all and the new site is hit or miss for most people. I sent NVC a message on 12/13 and they replied back to me on 12/19 that they received my case, I called on 12/21 and got my case number but it wasn't sent out with this shipment so hopefully it will be sent to the Consulate on 1/9.

Hello does anyone have any advice for me they still don’t have my case and I’m super worried is there something I can do? I am thinking about contacting a senator noa2 November 21. I called to inquire and they told me they haven’t sent my case to NVC and I called to ask about my inquiry and non of them are not “seeing anything” jus the fact that my inquiry is in. My case just says approved does it change to my case was sent to NVC? Thanks for any advice

Your case is going to take longer to adjudicate. Just have a little more patience. It's not unusually that country's such as yours is looked at a little more closely. See the information below from USCIS.

Additional screening and background checks based on country of birth, citizenship, or residency in the “State Sponsors of Terrorism” (T-7) list: Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, Syria; or from the “List of 26”: Afghanistan, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, Yemen. This is a mandatory stop list and allegedly takes 2 to 4 days, thanks in part to the partially rolled out PATRIOT (Pre-Adjudicated Threat Recognition and Intelligence Operations Team) system managed by ICE, but often take 3 to 6 weeks and if there is a hit who knows how long.

Nigeria's Embassy is very busy. Check the interview scheduling website and watch for cancellations and cancel yours for one that is sooner.

Oh thanks, I am still checking for an earlier date round the clock.....I am not sleeping on it.

Hi guys, my NOA 1 was July 20th and NOA 2 was Dec 8th.

We only just found out that we're approved on Dec 26th via hard copy,

so I guess we could already call the NVC to ask for our case#?

Yup

99% of the people get both. Nothing to worry about. Just keep moving forward.
