Got my asylum, got green card and citizenship afterwards, got married overseas, wife got gc and eventually citizenship, filed change of status for my visiting parents, both got greencards. Took about a decade for all this, long journey, finally seems to be over. This forum has helped me a lot, there are some very good people here who help. How to withdraw? It has i765, i130, i485 and i864. Do i need to do separately And thanks

So i messed up, wrote a check from same bank where i had an account that was closed years ago and i opened account again few years ago but had different account number obviously, somehow old checkbook from years ago was the one i wrote check from mistakenly as it was somehow still in my documents. Application was received and noa1 was issued that payment is received. However obviously the check must have bounced back and now status says issue with the payment. Judge me how you want but with very busy life and filling all paperwork, i screwed it up. Now, my question is, my parents visit visa is expiring in 23 days from today. Do i wait for their letter and refile? Can payment be remade with same Application? I tried calling uscis number cant find out how to reach customer service 😒

Or should i just put my income not my wife, and put numbers off tax transcript as it is enough to sponsor my parents.

Thanks, so since we filed jointly when she writes income for 2022, 2021 and 2020. Doesshewrite the same numbers as me? Wouldn't it double our income? Or thats how it is?

Hi question, since my wife is filing i864A along with my i864 to sponsor my parents. So since tax transcripts has our tax returns as married filing jointly and has both of our incomes in there, do me and my wife when filling i864, and i864A both write same numbers ? Wouldn't it double our income?

Can i get info on irs website? I never kept copies, i thought they are available online anytime

So i am petitioning/ sponsoring for my parents, my wife had 0 income in 2022,and my income exceeded 125% of poverty lineup requirements. But i learned she needs to fill i864 A as well, regardless of her 0 income in 2022. However, She did have income in 2021 and so did I, but we dont remember individual incomes as we filed jointly and tax returns off irs website has adjusted gross income of us. When i fill 2022,2021,and 2020 incomes in i864, do i put joint income as on tax returns? What should my wife put on her i864A, joint adjustment gross income on tax transcript as well? This form is confusing

So even if my wife has 0 income, but since we file joint tax return, and even if my income exceeds the requirement, she needs to fill i864A? And thanks

So i am sponsoring and filing i485, and i864 for both of my parents who are adjusting status from b2 visa. I have separate applications filled for both. In past i have petioned and sponsored for my wife and she is permanent resident now, and i have 1 child now. This is all my family. No other dependants. I am filing now for both of my parents and i am filling two separate i864 for them. House hold size wise, me , my wife and my child, we are 3 members? And i am petitioning for both of my parents now. Now i am confused in part 5 of i864. Item 1 : asks the number in item 29, which is 1. Since my mom has a separate i864 and is also a principal applicant. So enter 1? Item 2: yourself which is me so answer : 1 item 3: i am married so enter 1? My wife was sponsored by me in past so do i list her in item 6 as well? That will double count her for item 8????? item 4: dependant children: i have only 1.so enter 1 Item 5: other dependant: i have no other dependant on my tax returns and i am filing separate i864 for my mom and she is not listed dependant on my tax returns , so i guess i enter 0? Item 6: confusing again, it is asking for any other who was sponsored by me, my wife was in past. But then she was listed in part 3 for being my spouse. so i guess if i list my wife in part 3 already, I dont mention her here? And enter 0 to avoid double count????because all needs to be added up for item 8. Item 7: i have no one joint sponsor or combining income, i am sole sponser, so 0. Item 8: what should i put there? Please correct me where i am wrong and thanks a lot.

In i130 it asks if I have applied for anyone before, as i am filing for my parents now, and already did for my wife years ago. It asks the date but we cant remember, what to do about it? Thanks

Do they return the packet to us to file with aos,or they send it directly to uscis?

I am about to file for my parents adjustment of status, and filling i693, if there are many doses required for certain immunization ( i am not sure what is needed they probably need every thing as they dont have any record except coronavirus vaccinations). Do we need to complete the whole thing , even if 2nd dose is weeks away and then send the i693 with i485? Do we take 1st dose of everything and send with application? I am not even sure if anything requires more than one dose but vaccinations usually do,and i am thinking is it going to delay the process of sending i485? Thanks

So just fill i693 form? Dont need any official documentation for request of medical from uscis?

So i am applying for adjuof status for my parents. I am told medical reports should be sent along with origional i485 application. Where do i find those places, and what kind of paper if any i need to take to them to do the tests? Don't we need to file i485 first and then when they want medical dont immisend some documents to take it to clinics to do medical? Do do i just walk in there and have tests done ? Thanks

Just want to know, what if 6 months of their legal stay pass away, wouldn't they be illegal at that point if no i797 from uscis till then?

This is their 2nd visit, we decided not to that first time, and they went back. We are still not 100% sure if we are filing or not but i am looking for options if it is possible to do it , we already have their return ticket purchased but having change of mind

So you are sure about 90 day rule ? Because someone said it will show intent to immigration and be looked as suspicious immigrant intent before travel?? Thanks. Also if for any reason if their case is denied in future, since you said it is authorized stay, it wont affect their re entry into US with ban for years right?

Hi , so my parents visiting me , i am US citizen, and they just arrived here. They have multiple entry visa and i believe they can stay maximum of 6 months for this visit. However, with little infant that i have and a business we feel it would be great help if they stay here and we are intending to cancel the flight backhome and file for adjustment of status. My question is , 1) is it best to file after 90 days of entry? 2) since there valid stay is 6 months , and i am not sure how long the process of adjustment of status is, would they be out of status between the time frame of getting any work permit etc and 6 months of entry? Would it be a problem. How does this whole thing would work? Should i hire an attorney or file by myself? They are not planning to travel for 2,3 years now. Thanks

Hellow guys, we filed i751 in January, however we just received noa1, and that stated that letter means extension of green card for 2 years. However we havnt gotten any appointment for fingerprints or anything. Only 1 letter we received that said our case was transferred to some other office. Is it normal?
