Out of curiosity JackLondon, how old are you?  Still live with your parents?

He's limit locked for the day.

I'm sure we'll see a new post in a few more months about how his mum has bought the doctor and that we're all idiots. :)

I mean, if they have that much money - what's stopping them from flying the doctor to the UK? Pretty sure he'd do it if they would throw $100k at him.

Actually the question should be for you, how old are you? First of all you’re talking off topic, either leave a professional answer or don’t post at all. Secondly, everything you’re saying are assumptions and you are talking without any evidence. Your responses and the way you write without any proof is simply immature.

That’s actually not a bad idea if they have the money.

My thread was not questioned how to pass your assumed rules of a US place of residency.

But that is the core issue.  The CO is not convinced that you will return to UK after your stay........weak ties to home country = no visa.....

Really?  Proof of what, specifically?

Actually, they can! $500k will buy an EB5 visa. Then he can stay as long as he wants!

Isn't it curious how someone with hundreds of thousands of pounds to throw around moans about spending £400 on visa fees and £650 per hour on a lawyer? You’d think that was small beer to get something that you’re willing to invest a couple of hundred thousand pounds in!

oh by the way jack - you said something in one post about people not earning a couple of hundred thousand dollars in a couple of years - actually yes they do, especially out here on the west coast (and NYC of course). No not everyone, but some earn way more than that, and others with a household of 2 people each earning $50k pa gets there too.

I forgot about the investor visa. That should be easy enough for them!

Yeah but that would mean doing "jobs". I don't think OP wants that.

I was thinking about that, too.  Is there any consequence to *changing one's mind* and not investing after all is said and done?
