We are with you guys :)

Delivered to the lockbox on the 4th, picked up on the 6th (the following Monday), but still no NOA1 or check cashed. I'm starting to get a little worried now because I'm seeing that even people who sent their packets in after me already have their NOA1 :(

Hi all - We filed August 3rd and received the NOA1 hard copy on the 17th. I'm glad to have found this forum - it's reassuring to see others going through the process, and I look forward to your updates. Good luck, everyone!

So https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do gives me the date of Aug 8 for when the document was received (I still do not have hard copy of I-797) but https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant shows the date of Aug 13 (5 days later)

Now I wonder what date I should've put on my NOA1.

Packet was delivered on Aug 9th at 4:26 am???? according to USPS tracking.

From what I read, that first site is going to be obsolete soon and second site listed will be only official site.  So, I say go with 2nd even if it's a fee days later.

As per USPS tracking, my packet was delivered on 8/17 at 4:21AM. So, your delivery time sounds accurate 🤣.

Best wishes,

Catherine.

Shiran,

I just received my hard copy I-797 today (and we have the exact same timeline so far) so I think you can be expecting yours soon!

I consider my NOA1 Aug 13, it seems like that's the date most are using.

I received my hardcopy I-797C as well. Notice date on it is Aug 13, 2018, which is I believe the date VJ wants us to use. Received date is Aug 08, 2018.

It is refreshing to see name and DoB of my beneficiary listed there explicitly, which confirms they did indeed scan it, and did at least some minimal processing on it. I had to harass her to double and triple check that it all looks good, because I just wanted affirmation, which naturally lead to "Well it is only right if date format puts month before date!" comment. 🤔

Officially joining this group! We’re sending the packet tomorrow.

Do I need to send a copy of my old and new passport (beneficiary)? I have been in the US 3-4 times, for work and visiting my boyfriend. I have 3 previously issued US visas which are on my old passport.
