Any July filers still waiting for NOA2?

I"m going on 235 days. I check both sites daily but i don't think they update them because I know my cousin is waiting for interview date and his still shows RFE letter sent out.

Have you made an official inquiry via USCIS site? Once you're outside the standard processing times you can submit one

You are not alone. Same here still waiting for NOA2. I sent a letter to our congressman here in LA. I hope that will push them to work on my file.

How did you write a letter to the congressman? Do you mind messaging me what you wrote to them?

I followed this guide, at least the intro, but not all of it. I was straight to the point.

This information is a tad bit early but it is not too early to review and start preparing for the interview.

Once you pay the $265 visa fee at GTB Bank, you can go online to schedule an appointment at www.ustraveldocs.com You can get the forms online at http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visa_forms.html No need to go to the consulate to pick up forms. Download forms if unexpired or get current versions of same forms. Email LagosIV@state.gov for your interview date.

Each embassy is different so I advise that you read the material links I posted earlier. I do not keep up with what the embassy's requirements are except to gather links to help applicants. There are just too many to know and understand. If I have a note that something is required that is fairly new information I will post it along with the links. There is a thread or two from those from your country who are processing and are a head of you so they may be of some help.
