It is pretty wild to see how few relatively speaking July apps are on VJ.  There are more unapproved June Apps still than there are unapproved July ones. 170 for June vs only 164 for July. It is nice to see steady uptick of July approvals. Hopefully they keep going strong next week took before the holidays.

It could be possible that a lot of people create timelines after they get their NOA2 or around the time they would expect to be getting one. Though I hope I’m wrong and there just aren’t that many July applications so they get through them quicker!

It's definitely true; probably a third of the of the May (which was our month) filer timelines showed up after the first non-expedite approval, and I doubt June's any different.

It seems like April was a relatively slow month in terms of # of filers; there are actually fewer April timelines here without an NOA2 than March, February, or January, though the percentage with a NOA2 is a hair lower than March still.

Get your police certificate is one thing. Check your immunizations.

Kyiv embassy is actually nice enough to provide a clear checklist

Maybe go to the embassy website and read what is next. Maybe if you select your flag the genie will appear and you'll see what is next. Maybe research using the search function here on VJ. Maybe search using Google. I'm running out of ideas. Do you have any? I mean after all you started this process. JMHO

I hve a question too , does the beneficiary has to take all previous passports with him for the interview ?

Yes if you have them. They may look at them and then again they may not.

On one hand, it seems like slower approvals are more common from some countries. On the other, the slowest approval I've ever seen here was from Canada.

Same with me. My NOA1 is on 9th July. On myuscis.gov (new site) shows I got the approval on December 12th but on egov.uscis.gov (old site) it still says the petition was received on July 2. So even I am confused if we got the approval or not that's why I haven't updated anything on VJ. I will do it only once we get the official approval email. :)

We got ours APPROVED last night! We filed on July 2 at the Texas processing center but i received my letter from California, so I was a bit surprised by that. Our estimate on the timeline here was that we would be hearing the week after Christmas, so I'm so happy Christmas came early for us! Hopefully everyone else who is waiting will be hearing back soon! The hard part is almost done!
