179 days! I deleted applications and I stopped checking online. I saw May 17 got approval and we’re May 7 lol. I’m not gonna expect this November. Looking forward by December. Someone called and they says if 7 months no approval yet just call them back again to remind lol. Wt* life is so unfair 😓

Don't be discouraged.  One approval for May 17th is no reason to be discouraged.  I feel you will hear in the next week.  Chin up...all will be well in a few.  Reinstall your application and resume checking till you leave us to the next phase.

I am like you anxious but not discouraged.  It looks like to me with my looking Nov. 7th or around that time should be your expected time of notice.

I am also trying so hard not to be discouraged, but it is very hard.... we have been waiting for so long now to give up LOL!!! but it is disheartening to hear that there is people waiting for the NOA2 since January 2018 even December 2017. So the only thing I can say is to just be positive remember whatever you put out in the universe will come back to you...

I just don't have fingers crossed, arms, legs and eyes are crossed at this point. LOL

I do believe we will be hearing from them in the next two weeks, hopefully before thanksgiving. and that would be a main reason to be thankful for this year...

While that's true, basically from Feb and earlier there are only a handful of cases that haven't been approved (or denied or withdrawn or they never updated their timeline after creating it). About 3/4 of March timelines that ever will be marked as approved are (assuming the same percentages as past months), and about 2/3 of April filers. We've actually got a lot of May approvals so far considering when the first non-expedites appeared.

There was no update from app, text or email. I just opened the Case Tracker app and boom. The old site has been updated as well but new site haven’t.

As of today all apps rely solely on "old site" for their data, they just pull it from there. There is also no such thing as "official" app. I don't understand why USCIS seems to be so incosisten about updating things online, but I guess choke it up to another "Your tax money at work" bureaucracy system.

I can definitely relate to what you are saying, but still USCIS says they generally process in the order they receive, (yeah right) but you've come to far to give up now.

4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

USCIS is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind of answer you are going to get!!!!

Our case was approved today!🙏🙏🙏🙏

NOA1: May 11

NOA2: November 1

for your NOA1 do you go by the date they received it or the last updated date? When I check the case status it says they received it on 5/31 but the last action shows 6/5. Kinda confusing.

Funny thing is the Case Tracker app sent me 2 nontifications. One is an update from USCIS and another one is site maintenance. But it didn’t notice my Approval today. I have to open and reload it to get the update manually
