Printing photos for evidence of having met for K1 visa

Is it ok to print the photos on a color laser with annotations of peoples names / dates / location on the printout?

Or do they want old school KODAK photos which means I have to huntdown a photo shop?

We printed ours on our regular colour printer at home, on regular printer paper, then we added dates and small explanations under each photo (date and place).

You can print, but note that a photo is NOT proof that you met in the last two years, only that you met. Unless you are holding up a newspaper together or something. Still good for proof of relationship though.

Invalid as what? Proof of meeting in the last two years? Yes.

Proof of bona fide relationship? Perfectly valid.

The receipts will be your proof of having met in the last two years.

Passport stamps of you and your fiance(e) travelling together are good proof of meeting, also plane tickets from those trips showing the date.

The photos just aren't good enough proof for the meeting requirement because nobody can know when they were taken. It's very easy to add in a date on a photo after the fact. That's what Harpa was saying.

Don't freak out, be calm and review everything before you send it. If you second guess anything just ask. That's what we are all here for.

Match photo with receipt (dates) and that is meeting proof in the last 2 years.

Photos in general are just proof that you met, doesn't prove when.

Affidavits from friends in pictures with you confirming dates would also work.

Passport dates with hotel receipts, plane tickets with dates, anything that shows a date within the last 2 years.

Don't over embellish. Send just what is needed to prove that you met within the last 2 years in person.

Engagement ring receipt and picture with her wearing it, use your imagination. It's pretty basic.

I would rather for you to include the entry/exit stamps in your passports along with the boarding passes in each of those trips.

For example when my husband then boyfriend and I went to Dubai last year, out of so many pictures I just included few pictures in the first page with a title "DUBAI 2015" and then on the second page were the boarding passes, entry/exit stamps page of our passports, hotel reservation and car rental receipt which both showed our names all in that single page.

Keep in mind that you don't need 150 pictures, you really only need 5-6 and pictures are secondary evidence to the USCIS, you want to have a lot more primary evidence such as chrmar said, boarding passes, entry/exit stamps in each of your passports from trips to see one another that correlate with the boarding passes.

Pictures only does NOT provide proof of you guys met in the last 2 years

I would make copies of the Entry stamps on both of your passports in Macau (if I remember it they print it out on a piece of paper), Hongkong and the Philippines.

Receipts are all well and good, but as others have stated the best is anything that shows both of you together at the same time, with verifiable time notations. A receipt does not prove that you were together, just that you were at a location, not who you were with unfortunately. This is the hardest part because who really thinks about how do we prove we are here together at the same time within a specific time period. I was just going to use the receipts for the ticket purchases myself initially.

Thank God my honey kept every scrap of paper I ever received and put it in a keepsake book. We used our boarding passes from the flights on Cebu Pacific as the primary evidence we were together in the past 2 years, which showed the date, time, flights, seats, and names, they even had the Terminal Fee tags attached, all of which require valid IDs to obtain. Combined with the secondary evidence of our dozen pictures and my passport entry stamps, we had no issues. 2 Pictures per page with a small blurb detailing where, when, and who underneath. I typed it using Word, but handwritten is fine also. I did not include any chat logs, e-mails, Skype logs, or phone records at all, but plenty of folks do.
