Wheelchair is a possible option, some airlines don’t like doing it if it’s not strictly necessary, if you go that route make sure she knows she’s expected to sit and wait on the plane till everyone else has deplaned.

My k1 and k2 interview is the 14th of November. I sent only 2 pp photos for each applicant. The combo card used the picture taken at biometrics
We have not had and RFE for more PP type pictures

You can call like expedia and book over phone with your situation. You can then also book most legs with the agent. Some airlines do not allow seat selection.
My fiance just arrived the other day from vietnam and she flew with Japan airlines then two legs with american airlines. Japan did not allow seat selection but AA requested seats for us and she was able to sit at requested seats.
