  1. I don't remember exactly but I think it was a week after or a little more! Thanks, I hope so too! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
  2. Hey guy!! Since I was once a September filler I thought I should keep you posted too, my second application went through pretty fast and yesterday was my interview, everything went well and after a few hours I got this on my tracker πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—
  3. Hello everyone! So yesterday was my interview in Harlingen Texas, the people were nice and the interview was fast and not complicated: The officer asked us how we met, my wife explained everything, I couldn't even say a word πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. He took my picture and both my index fingerprints, then a little bit of chit chat with the officer, about him going to France and the UK, while he was reviewing the papers. I freaked out a little bit when he asked me if I did another medical, because he was having a hard time finding the one I gave at the port of entry. He finally found it and processed with the Yes/No questions, and finally asked if we had more things we wanted to add to the file. I gave him a statement from my wife credit card company saying that I was added as an user and a paper from the car insurance with both names on it. I also tried to give him pictures and copies of letters family sent us but he just wanted papers like joint bank accounts and money related. I explained I didn't have more because I didn't have a social security number yet. He strongly advised us to get more of these for the removal of conditions, because that's the best proof of living together. In the end he told us he was gonna recommend for approval and by the time we ran some errands around and went home my status already updated on my tracker app! πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒβ˜ΊοΈβ˜ΊοΈβ˜ΊοΈ
  4. Yes I have the luck to be affected to a fast processing office, only a little more than 4 months between the application and the interview 😊
  5. Usually the letter arrive a couple of weeks prior to the appointment, so you should have plenty of time. Mine arrived 2 or 3 weeks before I think.
  6. Wait for the biometric appointment letter, if the appointment falls when you are out of town, go before your scheduled date to get it done. A lot of people did it and so far I never heard of people who got refused.
  7. When I first applied to get my driver license, my I-94 was still valid and I was already on AOS, so I wanted them to use the AOS and not the I-94 for the validity of the license. Basically they were checking my status on the SAVE system with the number on my I-94 and not with my alien number. They kept focusing on the my visa expiration, saying that the NOA-1 didn't have an expiration date, so eventually I chose to get at least my license even if it would be valid for a couple weeks. Then after further research I was sure that they were supposed to accept the NOA-1 as a proof to extend validity of my DL. When I went back the lady went to talk with her supervisor for 5mn and when she came back she told me they had to check my status, that it would take about a week and to come back when I'll get a letter from them. I did it and they processed my request and I got my 1 year DL 2 weeks later. But unlike Texas is doesn't seem that Nebraska accept the NOA-1 as proof of residency, to issue a DL. Basically you'll have to wait for you GC or your EAD, depending which one arrives first.
  8. I'm sorry I don't remember the exact address, but it was the one that appeared in the email they send me.
  9. I just got my interview notice and it is scheduled on March 7 in Harlingen TX 😁😁
  10. He told me to send the documents by regular mail, I think it was to the NVC.
  11. You can probably mail it anytime. A lot of people went to their ASC or even a different one before the date and got their biometrics done.
  12. No EAD, it's only been 3 months I applied and EAD nowadays takes almost 6 months. Another member adjusted from a B-2 at the same office I do and the processing time difference between the B2 and the K-1 is maybe 3 weeks or a month.
  13. I have a limited experience with expedite advance parole but maybe it can help you. I requested an advance parole in September for a family loss. They gave me a referral ID and the in the next days got an email asking me to fax them proofs (it went really fast), which I idid then I didn't heard of them for a couple of weeks. I called them and the officer advised me to fax it again and send a paper request too. I faxed again (I guess the way I entered the phone number was wrong the first time) and this time it took a couple minutes for the fax to be sent. I got another email the next days saying they got the proofs and were going to review them. Unfortunately my applications were rejected a few days later because of a bounced check and the expedite was void. I would advise you to try to fax it again because it doesn't always work.
  14. For my office it was originally from 8 to 23.5 and went up to 9 to 31.5. But I still got my interview scheduled after 3 months. I know it varies for each individual, but I've seen a lot of people with K-1 visa and offices like yours getting their interviews quick.
