Nothing is automatic.  There is an old belief that marriage to a US citizen grants automatic citizenship.  That is not the case.

Lawyers, take cases, knowing full well they can lose a case. They always get payed. Not like normal trades.

Every single lawsuit thread posted here on VJ last year received cautionary replies from seasoned members about the risks vs. benefits.  No one listened, and people got all bent out of shape about VJ members not 'supporting' the K-1 visa category, and indignant about "how can the government do this to us when we're in love" etc.  
 
I hope they won't send your petition back to USCIS to expire, but honestly I'm not surprised that they are using this tactic when people try to force their hand.
 
And for future readers:  lawyers are happy to take your money and sue the DOS, but by participating, you take risks.

Usually, the person who was interviewed has a pretty good idea of why a case is denied.  We need more information from him.

We pay $100.00 per month, for insurance in Colombia, Medication copay for any medication $1.00 I just had major surgery here. This was in a world class hospital in Cali $65.00 copay for upgraded services. All doctors, and nurses spoke perfect English.    

I moved to Colombia, 3 years ago. I never regret this move. Medial is excellent ad almost free, with my wife insurance, for $100.00 a Month. I just had a mayor operation, in Cali, this was a world class hospital. 80% of the staff spoke fluent English, the rest was learning, payed by the Hospital.

DCF is only for exceptional circumstances.  The textbook example is you working and living in your spouse's country as a temporary resident, and your company giving you short notice (1-2 months) of transferring you to the US.  Or military personnell based in the country and being transferred to another post. 
 
Things that are not exceptional circumstances:  change of attorneys, changing from using an attorney and doing it yourself, visiting your spouse's country and wanting to go back to the US, etc.
 
Everyone waits a long time for the interview.  They maintain the long distance relationship via chat, calls and video.  They occupy their time with hobbies.  They visit each other, either in the spouse's country, the US (provided the spouse has a vaild visa or VWP) or a 3rd country.  Some couples have to wait only a year, others several years.  This is not a process for the light hearted.  It is long and grueling.  We all do it because we feel we have found that special someone and that they are worth the time and tribulation.
 
Now that you have a US passport for your daughter, and assuming your spouse still qualifies for VWP, you can travel together to the US to visit your parents.  Your spouse will need to return to Germany to for the interview, but she can visit for the permitted duration of the VWP.  Or your spouse can apply for a B2 visa to visit up to 6 months.   This is at the discretion of the CBP officer at your port of entry in the US - they can deny her entry if they feel she will try to stay and not return.
 
You are months away from the NVC stage of the spouse visa, but you should start thinking about the affidavit of support.  You stated that you quit your job - without qualifying income, you will need a joint sponsor lined up.  
 

It depends how much you willing to pay the lawyer, you get what you pay for. 

Something that is not required or asked for by a US embassy cannot make a difference for a positive outcome.

I never send W-2 or 1099 for either my wife or my stepson. Tax transcripts and copy of tax return 1040 worked every time.

I just don't understand if they are just trapping immigrants with this voting registration. English is not the first language of most immigrants and It takes only 1 mistake to be registered wrongly. But when it comes to immigrations they request immigrants to show as much evidences and paperworks that  they have and all these complicated forms and processing. But when it comes to registering to vote, how come they don't even ask to show any evidence of being a US citizen? And eventually use it against the immigrants when they apply to naturalize later on when they registered accidentaly. Where is the credibility of the American election, if it's that easy to register and possibly vote?

Still not sure what you are frowning upon. You asked questions about assets and your wife's income and i provided answers on those, and yet you are still arguing. Not sure what you are looking for.

I would have also asked if your income is sufficient.  If it is, leave the asset section blank.  If your income is all W2/employee income, use the I-864EZ that has no asset section.  This information is in the form instructions, along with how to handle applicant income and applicant assets.

I asked that as well which OP doesn't want to talk about.
