I feel like I am one of the last people left waiting in this group, but I just got the notice that my interview has been scheduled! So excited/nervous!! I asked EMMA and was informed that the interview is set for December 2, 2021 at 9:55 AM. Meaning that (if everything goes well) I'd be getting a 10-year green card since our 2nd wedding anniversary is this coming Monday 11/08. Now off to schedule a medical appointment! FO: Brooklyn, NYC. Timeline (I removed stuff related to my EAD and AP renewal): 09/25/20: AOS package (I-130/I-485/I-765/I-944) mailed out via USPS. 09/27/20: Package received by USPS. 10/24/20: Received NOA1 in the mail. PD is 09/28/20. 01/05/21: Biometrics appointment completed. Case updated to show fingerprints were taken (I-486 & I-765). 01/05/21: I-131 mailed via UPS. 01/17/21: Received IOE receipt number for I-131 via text. 01/25/21: Received a biometrics reuse notice for I-131. 02/02/21: I-485 Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. 02/04/21: Received I-693 deficiency notice in the mail. 02/09/21: Advance Parole document was produced. 02/16/21: AP in hand. 02/26/21: New Card Is Being Produced (EAD). 03/04/21: EAD in hand. 11/04/21: Interview was scheduled for 12/02.

“Ready to be scheduled” is a different status than “Interview has been scheduled”. Depending on your field office, it could be months before your interview is actually scheduled.

Some updates on my EAD renewal: 08/30/21: Renewal paperwork mailed out via UPS. 09/01/21: Package received by USCIS. 09/02/21: Case info showed up on my USCIS online account and I got a text confirming receipt. IOE receipt number. 09/07/21: Got the NOA/180-day extension in the mail. Hopefully the process is smooth, although having the extension give me some peace of mind.

You said he entered on a K-1 visa? It was my understanding that the only way to adjust status when entering on a K-1 was via marriage to the original petitioner. I might be off, but I don’t know if he’d be able to adjust from within the US.

I just sent my renewal paperwork earlier this week! I believe paper filing is the only way to go about it, since I'm pretty sure online filing is only available for F-1 international students getting their OPT EAD.

I'm a (late) September filer (I got ready to be scheduled on 02/02/21), but thank you so much for sharing about your interview being scheduled! It's been hard to figure out where the Brooklyn office is at with scheduling interviews, so you getting an interview date scheduled at least gives me a general idea about what to expect.

Yes, I got the 1 year one! I am not sure how long it’s taking either, that’s why I’m trying to submit for renewal as close to the allowed date as possible.

I’ve been in “ready to schedule for an interview” status since February 2nd. But because I’m in Brooklyn, I’m kind of expecting (and hoping) my interview to take plane after my 2nd year anniversary coming up this November. I’m actually getting ready to renew my EAD by the end of the month!
