Well, not my proudest moment. But I got a dui last weekend. I haven’t been to court or anything yet so I don’t have the final ruling.

but I am a bit concerned it could cause some issues in the process. No any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated.

to be clear I am the petitioner. We already have our noa2, and are waiting for NVC to give us our case number.

what should I do, if anything?

yes :(

Did the arresting officer charge you with anything else besides DUI? (such as: refusal breath, etc..)

Do you have other petty criminal charges?

So, you are the USC?

When tomorrow starts without me..

please try to understand, That an Angel came and called

my name, and took me by the hand; The angel said my

place was ready, In Heaven far above, And that I'd have

to leave behind all those I dearly love. But when I walked

through Heaven's Gates, I felt so much at home, for God

looked down, smiled at me, And told me "Welcome Home."

So when tomorrow starts without me,

Don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me,

I'm right there in your heart.

OP says he’s the petitioner.

It isn’t an AWA crime, OP I don’t foresee any issues pertaining to the K-1.

You won't have any issues. I know other petitioners who have had one or more DUs and successfully brought spouses/fiancés here.

Any halfway decent attorney can get the DUI knocked down to a reckless Operation or something. Pay about 7 to 10k in fees fines and other things and the whole thing will disappear. If it's your first offense, might get it down to a parking ticket even.
