Did they say you can submit new evidence to overcome this?

They didn’t give him much information only told him that he don’t qualify and they gave him 212a form.

I would contact the consulate and ask.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Have him send you a picture of the form and then you can redact personal information and post it on here. That would help others figure out what the next step is.

so  has he committed a  crime and been convicted for illegally traffcating in drugs

I assume you need a joint sponsor who meets the requirements.

no   the embassy can say "get a joint sponsor" if they feel it will help your case

but in the 221g form they gave him had other issues that can not be overcome by getting a joint sponsor

 

u may not like my posts but u can' t ignore the embassy findings and issues and why the denied the K1
