guidance will become effective in sixty (60) days, on November 29, 2021.

It immediately occurs to me this would seem to take the pressure off immediate family adjustment of status petitions by citizens to file before the beneficiary’s I-94 expires.

It will also allow most illegal aliens to avail themselves of domestic commercial aviation as referrals by TSA to CBP would not have any effect.

Not sure about the impact on internal border checkpoints within 100 miles of the border.

This is a disaster......  This will result in even more people illegally entering the US.

It will.  Tragically ot means more people will thus foreclose a path to legalized steps.  With few exceptions, people who enter illegally cannot immigrate legally later.

Sounds like mixed messages, I thought the said he did not want people to come.

This is part of a strong arm tactic for passage of an amnesty bill, imo.

I went thru a long drawn out process to do all legal so illegals really upset me

but glad i don't have to come up with a solution

1,  I can see as the site says that sending 11,000,000 out is one of the biggest problems as expensive

2. and what is to be done with the US born children of these illegals who have citizenship and could stay behind if parents were sent out?  Welfare ?

like i say , "glad its not my problem "

but nothing that has been done or is planned  is going to stop them from trying to get here

Everything is politics. this country need those people to do the dirty work.  Years ago was a law in place that fine $10.000 anyone that will hire undocumented person. Why they don't enforce the law instead of spending billions building walls, then raise taxes for us to pay.

That's the thing that got to me was many of the pictures of the Haitians at the border had family units with women that were obviously very pregnant. So who is going to take care of these children and the USC babies?

What does this bill tend to do? Confuse about it

It is an administrative order not a bill.

It means that unless one is a terrorist, criminal, or illegal entrant, one won’t be deported or held for being in the USA illegally. As @Crazy Cat suggests, I think it will encourage more people to enter illegally even though the order says illegal entrants will be deported.

What I suspect will happen next is DAAA - deferred action for all arrivals.  Just as DACA has proven intractable to unwind so will DAAA

If such a law existed it would be  struck down by courts because the laws prevent employers from to hire employees who present documents the employer thinks are fake.

The memo doesn't mention immigration fraud or marriage fraud as a priority, at least specifically.  I saw a Brad Show Live video and he said immigration fraud was a priority.

Anybody have insight ?
