Today my N400 case updated to "we scheduled you for a biometrics.....". I have a pending I-751 which I filed since January 2020 and biometrics done February 2020. I was hoping to see that my biometrics was reused like everyone here instead they scheduled another one for me..  🤷🤷

Guess due to the progress of covid, things are returning back to usual.

I’ll do you one better: I had my I-751 biometrics LAST WEEK and they scheduled another one next month for the N-400, not even in my state. Ridiculous waste of ressources but at least I don’t have to wait more than a year like last time.

Since more than 15 months passed since they collected your biometrics USCIS rules mandate having you re-do the biometrics.

I received this email couple of days ago, but when I checked it online, I didn't see any changes. What could this be? Anyone experienced this? Thanks!

Maybe, but there doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason for who gets bio reused and who doesn't. My husband got the bio reuse letter and he hasn't had biometrics done since April 2013.

I sent biometrics last June with my I-751 and resent biometrics with my n-400 this June because it was a requirement for me, and they destroyed the biometrics I sent last month…so it looks like they’ll go again with the ones from last year. I just wish I didn’t waste my time and money, seeing they destroyed the new ones like nothing kinda made my jaw drop 😧

Everyday, Igor's list gets updated, for the N-400, to about 5 days of processing or so. That's awesome. Hoping people are keeping their timelines up-to-date on here, for the sake of those who must wait the approx. time frame.

Hey guys!

anybody know of a thread on VJ or care to do a quick rundown of the documents you uploades outside the required 3-4 documents that are listed on USCIS website? For online filing I don’t wanna overkill but I’m curious what’s some popular evidence for filing based on 3 year married rule.

Thanks!

Thanks! Just came across this last night as I was browsing VJ. So looks like all that stuff with bonafide marriage proof and tens of pages worth of personal stuff and all is not needed for N-400. Just some financial and tax documents etc. This seems easy enough if I can ever get into the IRS transcripts account. That’s the only thing I’m having issues with currently. Also, odd that it doesn’t say photographs are optional on that page there I thought it was only required if you’re outside the country.

Appreciate your response btw!
