Since the Feb sheets file is not working, anyone seen or heard anything on YSC Potomac progress? We are like so many sitting on the automatic biometrics approved notice with the longer extension letter. The last two and half years have sucked for everyone. One would think they would just get on with it already. Dreading having to scramble if they drag out to the last minute on the existing extension wondering if they will issue yet another due to the processing delays. We try not to think about it, far back of our minds mostly, but occasionally check to see whats up, and of course nothing.

I looked at the other month files still out there and didn't see reports of any other YSC packets moving. But perhaps the files are not being updated?

Hello everyone! I filed for removal of conditions way back in February 2021. Like many of you I am guessing, my two-year green card expired in April 2021. Since then I have received two extension letters, with the second extending the validity of my green card by two years to April 2023.

Reading this thread I am guessing that it is not particularly unusula to be waiting so long? I have some international travel I'd like to do in 2023 but with waiting for the 10-year green card it is making me nervous. I am thinking about booking an appointment to get the stamp and maybe starting the citizenship process - is that what you guys would recommend? I had been waiting to start the citizenship stuff until after I got the 10-year card but the longer I wait, the more I think I should just file and be done with it.

Our thoughts exactly. Going to stay ahead of it with info pass for stamp. And may hire an attorney come the 90 day window if there are no more extension letters. I would think they will likely extend them again as they save a ton of administrative headaches. As for citizenship, would hate to drag this one out longer by disrupting and then need to study to pass the test. An attorney said to probably wait at this stage on it. She said it was unclear if it would help as it used too, given all the general agency processing delays…. Let it run its course is the thinking.

It's very service center dependent in terms of whether filing for citizenship speeds things up or slows them down. Anecdotally looking at timelines on VJ it looks like for the Potomac Center it speeds things up, so I'm planning to file for citizenship as soon as I'm eligible.

Hello, just an update. A year ender surprise. My new card is being produced as of yesterday December 30, 2022 without interview. I filed last February 2021 and I came here as spouse visa. My case was stuck to Case Is Ready to Be Scheduled for an Interview since November 24, 2021. I expected it to take longer than usual process since I have an MSC case. I even changed address while waiting for my greencard. I had my biometrics in North Carolina then months after transferred my address to NJ. I only followed up my case last November 2021, I only used the chat customer service from the USCIS website just to verify if they have my new address. I regularly check my case status hoping for good news. It wasn’t an easy process for me, I also went through a lot of stress and anxiety but I just have to be strong. Patience is a virtue.

Hoping everyone will receive good news this coming New Year! have a blessed New Year to everyone!

Update on My Case. I just Passed The Interview. A simple Clean Process. Takes about 15 Minute I spent in total of 25 mins in the Building. My i751 was recently approved so she didn't even ask for no document aside of Passport and Green card. This is the easiest stage of The entire Immigration Process so Don't worry about Anything.

UPDATE: Oath Ceremony  on the 22nd of this month.

Congrats!!! So you had 2 interviews for N400?

Yes , I did. The first Interview was on 12/07/2022 but I didn't go with enough evidence for I751. So I was sent a rfe which I submitted then case was approved  the following week. Then my second N400 interview was rescheduled.
