11/19/19 Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview
11/29/19 Interview Was Scheduled
12/06/19 Interview Date received in mail

Interview was scheduled at 2:45pm. Arrived at 2pm. Waited for 1.5 hour, we went inside with our attorney together. The officer was really cold and went really hush on us. After our identification verification, she ONLY asked our recent joint bank statement, didn't take another gazillion paperwork we prepared. She also DIDN'T ask any single question about us or our marriage at all.

Then she asked the my spouse the citizen petition to go wait outside. Then started to give me gazillion questions about my past student visa, all those has nothing to do with my marriage case at all. She even asked me to show her my old I-20s and tuition fee, diploma etc. I came out at 5:30pm when the whole building was empty. Before I left her office, I asked her if she need to ask me any questions about the marriage and take all the joint documents I have with me. She said no, she thought my marriage has no problem at all.

I was with her for 2 hours. She told me to expect receiving a RFE letter from her on 1-2 weeks. She will keep processing my case according to my RFE response. My attorney said this was a super unfortunate and buzzard situation which never happened before...=_=

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
