  1. Just an edit- I followed up my case last November 2022 not 2021.
  2. Hello, just an update. A year ender surprise. My new card is being produced as of yesterday December 30, 2022 without interview. I filed last February 2021 and I came here as spouse visa. My case was stuck to Case Is Ready to Be Scheduled for an Interview since November 24, 2021. I expected it to take longer than usual process since I have an MSC case. I even changed address while waiting for my greencard. I had my biometrics in North Carolina then months after transferred my address to NJ. I only followed up my case last November 2021, I only used the chat customer service from the USCIS website just to verify if they have my new address. I regularly check my case status hoping for good news. It wasn’t an easy process for me, I also went through a lot of stress and anxiety but I just have to be strong. Patience is a virtue. Hoping everyone will receive good news this coming New Year! have a blessed New Year to everyone!
  3. Hi, just a quick question, did you receive any confirmation letter or email from USCIS about your change of address? I’m on the same boat, I changed my address last April but I got a confirmation email from them. Right now, my case is still stuck in “Case Waiting For Interview to be Scheduled” since November 2021. Kinda wondering/worried if that would be a problem with the Change of Address, hoping it won’t.
  4. Good day, I just have a question about renewing my Philippine passport, is it okay to retain my maiden name even if my (pending/being processed) greencard is in my married name? My expired Phil passport is still in my maiden name. I have been going through separation and will be filing for divorce in the near future. I was just wondering if I can just retain my maiden name in my Phil passport so it won't be a hassle. I have read an article saying: "The Philippine Passport Act does not prohibit married women from continuously using their maiden names in their passports. However, once a married woman has opted to adopt her husband's surname in her passport, she may not revert to her maiden name, except in any of the following instances: death of husband, divorce, annulment or nullity of marriage." --Just asking for any advice or anyone who has experienced this issue. Thank you.
  5. Also an MSC (Feb 2021 filer). Still stuck in "Ready to be Scheduled for Interview" too since November 24. Hoping to see some movement and approvals, it's already June 🙏
