Wanted to report in over here! Interview was today, we are approved pending the arrival of the medical. Almost done!!

 

My husband reported that the agent asked about insurance but we didn’t have to provide the additional paperwork.

So I only have the medical left (stupid glitch is still not fixed). I was reading the refusal letter I got after my interview that states that my medical is missing. 
 

it says “your visa application has been refused under section 221(g). This is considered a refusal for any immigration purpose, including an esta application.”

 

does this mean I can’t enter the US now, period? Even on an ESTA? Or I can, but not with the intention to immigrate (AOS application?)

I swear I think their status is just to mess with our heads. How hard is it to just make it plan.

 

There's AP that can last forever and AP after a an approved interview. Why can;t they just say that.
Say in 5 to 10 business days your visa will be issued and ready for pickup why all the cloak and dagger with these people. Lord have mercy.

 

I swear if they only would ask us the real people who use and rely on this nonsense to give them feedback and how to be better.

Yes normal. Refused is the new AP. Crazy isn't it.

Yes. Until they get a medical you will not be issued a Visa of any kind.

We just received DQ email from NVC. It took only 14 days. They are on fire. Hats off 

Now a long journey has started because MTL consulate has not resumed visa services so far and there is a looooooooooooooong waiting line.

Lets hope for the best.

You don’t need to print the whole thing

you need to print the confirmation page

you should refresh your memory of the answers on the ds260
