The trump Administration is planning to pass an Executive Order in the next 24 hours to suspend all immigration to America.  While it's unlikely the President will change their mind on the general policy, we believe they may consider a narrow exception for immediate family members of US Citizens.  We've started a petition a the White House which requires 10,000 signatures to get attention and 100,000 signatures to get a formal response.  Please join us by signing the petition at the following link.  We should have the membership to make a solid run at getting enough signatures!

Source (note the word in red)?

I don't mean to say it's certainly not that, but the fact is we do not know the details of the EO yet. This may or may not be a petition for a circumstance that does not even apply.

Edit: Examples:

* Europe travel ban exempts this already

* China travel ban exempts this already

* PP bans for various countries have waivers generally granted for IRs.

Please be sure to include K-1 visas! Fiancés do not count as immediate family since they are not married yet, but it is just as hard for us.

Added this language to a new petition which is linked in the first post.

Quote

Family is the foundation of America. Allowing an exception for the immigration of immediate family members of US Citizens, including fiancés, supports our country's values during this especially stressful point in history (Covid19). This narrow exception would make a significant impact to thousands of families while maintaining the safety of our country at the same time.

I have signed, but how is it possible that it constantly shows that only one person has signed? Or am I the only one seeing this?
