  1. So it's still required for pending cases? I was on USCIS reading that it's no longer needed for AOS and a bunch of other things. Can you clarify that? (PS: It is not for me. Family I know is moving here with an F41 visa
  2. There's hope. They're just processing very very slowly and limited. But with the shut down happening its hard to say.
  3. Right, so it won't matter because I don't have specifics as to what or how much I will be spending like rent for example. Thanks!
  4. Hello VJ Members! I had a quick question in regards to the I-134 affi form. On Page 4 Part 3 Item Number 38 As the petitioner do I need to check the check the box 'I Intend'. I do intend to sponsor my fiancé when he comes, the thing is that it is asking to add additional info on part 7 like room and board. I don't have that exact information as I haven't found an apartment of our own yet. Should I just I just write on Part 7: (K1 Process for permanent residence). Or should I just check the box and leave it at that. Any feedback will be appreciated.
  5. Hello VJ members! As of December 2020, US embassy in Algeria have resumed limited processing of new immigrant visas, including K1/K2 fiancee visas, and are beginning with those cases scheduled and cancelled in March 2020. I'm asking and making this topic in hopes that someone here has heard back and has a date yet? I know they are probably backed up and have many cases but I'm curious if anyone here has a date yet. And if so, was your original date canceled or this will be your first interview date. Thanks!
