Assuming you have paid the $220 GC fee prior to entering the US, the GC will take anywhere between 4 weeks and 6 months. No rhyme or reason. Normal maximum processing is stated as 120 days, so start chasing it if it hadn’t arrived by then 

If you haven’t received your SS Card within 3 weeks of arriving , take a trip to the SSA Office with your passport and Birth Certificate. Some cards come as requested .. others don’t 🤪

For those of us waiting for ANKARA.... My husband spoke with someone who has recieved his IL.

HIS INFO IS

APPT DAT AUG 26

 

I have some hope that will be hearing from Ankara soon
