I have come to you with Good News. I received a green card, which means that soon you will probably receive a long-awaited letter.🤗 

August 16, 2021 I sent documents.

September 20, 2021 notification that I do not need to take biometrics.

April 29, 2022 notification that my Green Card is approved and will send.

May 1, 2022 at morning I find the Card in my mailbox, so fast, probably they send notification after sending Green Card.

 No biometric, no interview. ( I had its 3 year ago, when got temporary green card).

As an April 2021 filer, it's very exciting to hear they're catching up with April 2021 petitions. Though unfortunately I'm still expecting another 3 months of radio silence until we see any further updates from LIN.

 

I haven't had any practical issues with having an expired GC, I've traveled abroad multiple times and always used the extension letter with no questioning at all during passport control and even switching jobs, so for all purposes it hasn't affected me at all. The only exhausting thing is the anxiety of whether they're going to schedule an interview, especially since my partner and I have separated, meaning I had to file a divorce waiver. I feel like I sent more than enough evidence of bona fide relationship and I've already been interviewed during AOS but who knows.

I've been tracking ~10000 LIN cases around my case number (filed April 2021) and, unsurprisingly, there's been very little movement on a daily basis. I've collected data on June 10th, 13th and 14th and I've only seen 5 status updates among those 10k cases.

 

Still playing around with the range of case numbers I'm tracking in order to collect statistically meaningful data, and I can't guarantee that I'll be doing this regularly or consistently, but hopefully this will give some insights or patterns on how LIN is processing I-751s.

USCIS redid their "check status" page... Now you enter in the date of your receipt and it tells you when you can talk with them....
