Got a notification today that my new card is being produced. Total time since biometrics were applied 510 days, overall 554 days of processing.

Apr 11, 2023, Card Was Mailed To Me
Apr 6, 2023, Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
Apr 5, 2023, New Card Is Being Produced
Oct 28, 2021, Case Was Approved
Sep 30, 2021, case received at LIN
 

LIN seems to work really efficiently and process lots of cases recently. Hope everyone can get their card soon!

We filed hubby's I-751 in February 2021 and N-400 February 2022 we are finally scheduled for I-751 interview next month at regional office.  It has been a hard and frustrating time two and three years for us.  He graduated with to Master's Degrees in Education Curriculum Development and Math Foundations and credentials in High School math.  But he has had to turn down job offers or told to apply when everything is finished.   And in 2016 we the case an attorney said we didn't need him since we had such a long history of communication and visiting each other.  ARGH I grateful most of have had success.

Your spouse was likely discriminated against. He should have not declined offers. Life usually doesn't stop for a LPR even when in removal proceedings, let alone pending I-751.

Most jobs do not require US citizenship. The ones requiring it are usually jobs in US defense / intelligence and similar.

 

With pending I-751, he had all the rights a 10 year greencard holder would've had and almost all the right a US citizen would've had, with exception of voting and other similar restrictions.

OldUser thanks to the past presidency's immigration changes, covid, and yada yada It was the extension and date it would end would be the issue for employment.  Like was offered a job last summer to teach but the I-551 expired October 2022 so who is going to hire a teacher who may or may not get another extension for employment
