  1. I tried several times to get a hold of a tier 2 officer but never got that far. My last attempt was a month ago and they forwarded my request to Nebraska processing center. Tis what I got last time "On October 19, 2022, your Other - Tier 1, referral number WKDxxxxxxxxxx, was assigned to an officer for response". Prior to that, the agent I chatted with told me he sent a request to get a hold of a Tier 2 officer. I then got an email saying an officer will call me within 30 days but nada.. I just got the usual template response via email. I didn't contact them anymore after that. I'll try again this week. I AM expecting to get an interview because of the switch request that's why I am not at ease on this one. I really don't want any hiccups by the time I apply for the citizenship.
  2. Ladies and gents, I checked my status today and update says "New Card Being Produced". I'm from Wyoming, filed March 2021. Hooray but not all the way. I have a dilemma about this though (posted in my account for the full details). I have contacted USCIS several times this year to get an update since I haven't gotten anything from them since I sent my request to switch for a waiver, but to no avail. I submitted a processing inquiry to them a week ago and now I got this update. I'm assuming that the 10-year green card is granted on the basis of joint filing. Any input or suggestion about this? I plan on applying for citizenship in 2 years.
  3. @Rocio0010. Do you know how to talk to a tier 2 officer? I want to be ready as soon as I can. In addition to my case, when I submitted my request to switch to divorce waiver, I submitted additional evidences (including the divorce decree) to save me and the IO time in sending RFEs. I was hoping that sending all those documents all at once would expedite their decision regarding my case but it doesn't look like it. I will be travelling out of the country this year as well so I'm hoping there won't be any problems about that.
  4. Hi everyone, As the title described, I am in need of recommendations on what to do after I have submitted my request to switch to divorce waiver since my divorce got finalized last March. I sent the packet with all the pertinent papers to Nebraska service center last April 2022 and it was received on April 15. I waited for 6 weeks and I submitted a case inquiry on the USCIS website about "missing notice" (if that was the right one to submit). The case inquiry is still unassigned to this date. I applied for the I-751 ROC last year March 2021 but I haven't heard anything back from the service center after the 24-month extension. I only sent the packet to the service center under the assumption that they won't forward I-751 cases to local field office anymore unless there is a need for an interview. I know it's a matter of waiting game at this point but if anyone has a relevant experience, can you share your experience and any insights about it? I read some relevant posts regarding the request to switch to divorce basis and it looks like they got an immediate response from the service center, but that's not the same on my case. Prior to this request submission, I planned on hiring a lawyer but I couldn't afford it. I got some advice from some lawyers (free consults) and some research through this forum and it seemed really straightforward so I did it myself. I'm really hopeful that I did the process correctly. Hope someone can ease my anxiety about this case. Thanks for your responses.
