I-765NOA: Approval Notice Date for AP/EAD Combo Card.

AP/EAD: Date card received in mail.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Approval: Date of Approval.

GCard: Date card is received in mail.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the AOS interview.

This may be a new record, AOS sent in april 12th received april 16- Receipt numbers sent to me via text MAY 21ST! still no physical NOA1 but im so happy with the receipt numbers already. I opened a service request after 30 days but they had until this friday as their goal date to get back to me so I couldnt tell you if it helped.

To anybody out there still in NOA1-limbo: hang in there!

Oh boy.. I received my NOA1 on April 15th and still haven't received any notice for my biometrics appointment. I was getting so worried and I had called USCIS dozens of times and the answer was always "we haven't scheduled yours yet". I called again today, the lady told me again the same thing. That being said, after I said I have been waiting more than 30 days, she said she will submit an application for requesting biometrics appointment on my behalf, and she did. I was given a receipt number starting with T1S144xxxx QNS... Did anyone else experience the same thing?

I went through the same thing. We received the NOA1 on May 10th or so and didn't receive the biometrics till this week. I called USCIS and the agent said they have not scheduled the biometrics yet, so I asked her to transfer me to a Level 2 officer and she said they won't tell you any different. She asked me to file a service request and I said no. I insisted I speak to an officer and she said that they are not allowed to escalate issues they can resolve, so I kept insisting and she finally gave in. I spoke to the officer and guess what? The appointment was indeed scheduled and he even emailed me the biometrics notice.

oh.... I should have asked for speaking with a L2 officer then. I already filed a service request... smh.... ima call them again ugh

ugh, they wouldn't transfer me to a level 2 officer b.c my service request was submitted today and it will take another 30 days 😥  I insisted on speaking to an officer and she just kept asking me why. why. why. and I was told, finally, an officer will give me a callback in the next three hours and the phone just disconnected.  😫 Lesson learned folks, should have checked this thread before I made that phone call and submitted the damn service request this morning.

Try again and tell them the Officers have access to a system that they most likely don't have access to. Just keep insisting.

My wife had her Biometrics appointment today in Fort Myers, FL at 12:00PM. We arrived at 11:45AM and there was no one there it was empty. While we went through everything 1 other  person showed up only took us 10 minutes to get through we were out of there by 11:55AM. They did have to check their system to make sure her last name is entered by her married name not maiden name and it was all good

Finally found the thread with all the other April 2019 folks! (Please don't mind the username, I wish I could change it 😕 )

 

We got the notice in the mail today that our interview has been scheduled for June 25th!!! Under 3 months since we applied for AOS. I'm so excited, shocked and amazed it happened this quickly. 

 

We are being processed from the Lawrence MA office, which I thought was going to be a bad thing since they probably have less resources as a smaller office. WRONG

 

Our timeline:

Married 4/12/18

AOS mailed: 4/9/19 

AOS delivered: 4/12/19

NOA1 4/19/19

Notice to have biometrics done: 4/26/19

I-693 courtesy notice: 4/30/19

Biometrics appointment: 5/14/19

Notice that interview was scheduled: 5/24/19

Interview scheduled for: 6/25/19

 

Extremely excited but nervous for the interview. Got my fingers crossed for everyone else who applied in April!

I am not 100% certain, but if your case is like my experience, there's a good chance that your biometrics mail was not delivered and then returned to USCIS. I called five times, asking again and again but was always told they have not scheduled my appointment. It was not until May 13 when egov USCIS updated my case online as "notice was returned to USCIS" that I realized that only the 2nd tier agent has access to notice updates, only then was I informed I missed my biometrics appointment back on May 3rd. I made the request for another one immediately which was sent to me on May 17, and I just received it on the mail yesterday. 

If you have not done so, make sure you have your name labeled inside your mailbox. Apparently, it has something to do with the government mails. I received all of my NOAs, but missed that biometrics mail due to that. Best of luck on your call next week!

When I moved here from Canada on K1 the lady at SSA told me to go to Post Office and have my maiden name and married name added to our delivery address for USPS, as there can be a an issue with receiving our mail.

It was a very helpful tip.
