Yes, Mount Laurel !

 

Although the processing times for it show 9-15.5 months.

 

Not complaining though, haha. I hope everyone's interviews come quicker than expected!

Mine says the same processing time haha my local is St Albans Vermont. We'll see. Happy for you though 😀😀😀 yaaayyy

I've seen another case from a VJ user from Phoenix that got her interview in a in about 3 months after biometrics. Although here in Phoenix is taking about 1 year and a half to get the interview schedule. The IO even said during the interview "[...] that the GC interviews for the Phoenix office are taking 1 year after applying so we were lucky."

 

My guess is that sometimes they schedule people randomly like that.

 

Here's her timeline:

 

AOS package sent: 01/22/18

NOA1 dated: 01/26/18

NOA1 text/emails: 01/29/18

NOA1 Hardcopies: 02/02/18

Biometrics: 02/23/18

Interview scheduled for: 05/08/18

Green Card Approved & Card in Production: 05/08/18

Card was Mailed to me: 05/11/18

Card Received: 05/15/18

 

I'm actually hoping that my case is not schedule as fast so we can avoid the whole I-751 nightmare and go straight to Naturalization.

I don't think it's going to make a difference. You will still go through ROC and Naturalization right after.

It does. After 2 years of marriage you receive a permanent (10 years) green card. Which means $500+ in savings and saves you all the work of putting together all the evidence required for ROC and going through an interview.

Yeah, I think that's the case if you wait two years then apply. If you apply before the two years, you still get the CR1 then file for the I-751 in 2 years.
