I received a mail confirming that my expedite request for my EAD application was assigned to an officer. I am already on the 130th day as I write this post. I'm not sure if I still have to push through with the expedite request and submit some supporting documents or should i wait until it passes that 150 day maximum processing as of this time. Your thoughts on this?

Do any of you guys know if moving to another state will delay my processing time? I just moved from Alabama to NC.

VJ averages for both Charlotte and Raleigh (the field offices that cover NC) are faster than Montgomery (which covers all of Alabama), but it's not clear if a change in field office sends you to the "back" of the line at your field office (assuming you're already at 'ready to be scheduled') or not.

If you're not at 'ready to be scheduled' yet, you should be processed as normal for your new field office.

My case still have RFIE has been received on July 23rd. I did my biometrics in June. But my lawyer said it shouldn’t put me in the back of the line, you’ll usually keep your place and I noticed that the time was shorter for NC than Alabama. Just was asking to see if anyone went through the same thing.

A lot of March is still waiting on their EADs; if they keep moving up around a day per day between now and your NOA1 of April 10th, that’s another 20 days right there.

If you’ve received the request for additional info on your expedite and you have a decent case, I would submit your evidence and hope for the best.

Congratulations! If you don’t mind I ask , did your case ever changed to “interview is ready to be scheduled “  at the San Diego local office?
