Thanks bro. This wait has been too long and I don't want to get my hopes up.

The lady I spoke to said there wasn’t anything much she could see about our case, but I asked if there was a case number and she had it. I’d definitely call back later today if you wanted or tomorrow and they should hopefully have yours.

At least my country forums are very quiet....

Would love to know what country that is. I look at your profile to the left of this page and it's doesn't indicated your country as you have yet to finish your profile.

Not knowing what Embassy you are processing through prevents us from responding to many of your questions. If you look at the profile others here, they have a flag for their country so it makes it easy for us to reply.

So if you could help yourself out and complete your profile sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

So I just got off the phone with the NVC office and they received our case, but no case number yet. Took 23 days from NOA2 response to NVC case received (but again, no case# yet). "Gilbert" told me it could take 8 weeks to get a case number. Can anyone say how long it takes to get the case number because that estimate is ridiculous and I don't want to believe it.

I’ve been waiting 24 days for a case number already. Most of the posts I’ve noticed have been saying 2-4 weeks, so I’m hoping to have mine by next week, “hoping” being the operative word here.

We got our NOA2 May 4th and an email from nvc May 30th with our  case number. London received it June 6th. So it took them about a month not terrible but not the quickest either.

Got police check done just took three days as I paid the extra fee. Medical summary all done but what sucks is earliest I could get a medical appointment was June 30th where as I could have got an embassy appointment within two weeks I wish I could have done that first now I’ve gotta wait u til July for my interview.

I was in the same position a couple of weeks ago, call knightsbridge every day or go on their cancellation list. They called me after one day and I got an appointment for the following week!

How long does it usually take the nvc to forward your petition to your embassy? My case has been “at nvc” for 8 days now... :(

i already filled out my ds160 but didn’t send it yet. Also have all my paperwork ready.

do I pay the fee now or when it arrives at my embassy and states “ready”..?

somebody please ease my mind....

Don't worry. It's in line to be sent off. NVC work pace changes depending on their work load according to a representative i spoke to last night. K1 are usually there for a very short period of time.

This may sounds silly, but do I need to call the NVC or can I just wait until I hear from my embassy?

I just feel feel like it’s better for my mental health to push it to the back of my mind, and every time I call and am told it’s not there, it feels like such a let down.

Do I need the case number ASAP or can I just wait for the embassy to contact me?

NVC sends the petitioner a letter with the case number after they send it to the embassy.  No need to get it any sooner if you don't want to, some just like to get a head start on things,

11/14/17 129F mailed

11/17/17 NOA1

05/14/18 NOA2

06/06/18 NVC received and case # assigned

06/12/18 left NVC

06/13/18 Manila Embassy received

06/13/18 CFO completed at Clark Pampanga

06/18-19/18 Medical exam

07/10/18 Interview - APPROVED!!

Congratulations to both of you!!! My fiance is also in the Philippines and we are about two weeks behind your NOA2 date June 1st.

We are trying to estimate the timing of our wedding in Colorado!

My question is how booked up are the interviews in the Philippines?

Are they booked up one month from today?
